We are half way through the Comfort Quilt! Assuming you are on schedule, of course. I am not quite on schedule, but I’m ok with that. Let me know in the comments where you are at with the schedule.

Week four Check in:

I selected and chain pieced the 30 blocks that I needed to piece. And hope to continue this week, and I add more blocks to the quilt.

Week 4 of the #ComfortQuiltQAL

This week is also graduation for my oldest daughter, so I’m not putting too much pressure on myself. Life happens and I do my best to keep up!

Week five

I hope you are enjoying the quilt-along as much as I am! If at anytime you are feeling overwhelmed with the process, slow down, and just make one. That little bit of satisfaction can go a long way in finishing up a project. I’ll be selecting my group of blocks today, and sew on them here and there as I have a chance this week.

  • Make the listed number of large and small blocks on your schedule.
  • Post your finished blocks, use #ComfortQuiltQAL to share with the group.
  • Have a tip? We’d love to know what simplifies the stitching process for you.

Be sure to use the #ComfortQuiltQAL hashtag on all your posts so that everyone can find you. It’s a fun way to interact as we sew!

Have questions about the quilt-along? I’d love to help! Leave a note in the comments and I’ll answer there so everyone can benefit.

Happy Quilting –

Amy

Nearing the end of the “smalls” for #comfortquiltqal when I dropped the basket of the entire 4th week’s parts, so maybe it’s time for bed now. #modernheritagequilts #amyscreativeside
