Hi & Welcome to the Blogger’s Quilt Festival! Everyone is welcome to view and admire the quilts, and we’d love to have you share your quilts too! No matter how long you’ve been quilting or blogging, you are welcome to share your quilts. This can be a great time to ask questions of the more experienced quilters even. Whatever you do, don’t let the beauty of what someone else has created, keep you from sharing your own project – you never know who you will inspire!
The Blogger’s Quilt Festival started because I wanted a place for bloggers to share their work, and be inspired by others all in one place! Having prizes and meeting fellow bloggers with similar interests made it even better. Over the 8 years that we’ve been sharing quilts this way the Festival has grown and evolved to what it is today, and my goal is to continue as long as you all keep participating! I love seeing all the quilts in one place and adding new to me blogs to my “must follow” list or pinterest boards of inspiration. With the changes that I’ve made this year, my hope is that you all will continue to enjoy the Festival here or on Instagram in the spring, and with my time freed up a little, I’ll be able to enjoy it along with you!
I have to thank the sponsors for their amazing prizes, and overall support of the Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I couldn’t do it without them! I hope that you all take the time to shop our “vendor mall” ;) and pick up fabric or patterns for your next project. All the images in this post, and in the sidebar, link you to their spaces online – be sure to check them out!
To Participate & Win : :
1 – Write a post the week of the festival, featuring your finished quilt (old posts will be deleted).
2 – In your post link back to the festival.
3 – Share a link to your post, in the linky on the festival post.
4 – Leave me a comment on the festival post to be entered into giveaways.
5 – Visit all the other quilters sharing their quilts and be inspired!
**Please respect my efforts and the efforts of the event sponsors, and do not offer giveaways in your Quilt Festival post.
The links will show up randomly for each person online, and name/number will not be visible. The number of votes on the top 10 will be visible after the close of the Festival.
I highly encourage all of you to leave comments, let the blog owner know that you’ve been there and how their work has inspired you! It’s a great way to make friends, and odds are you’ll get lots of comments on your Festival posts too.
Hopefully, all your questions have been answered, if not feel free to email me directly, for the speediest reply. I’m going to curl up with my laptop on the couch and enjoy all the quilts and interaction – thank you for participating!
