Life is choice, and every decision we make daily leads us to right now. Affirming the decision to create consistently, and to choose creativity makes it an easier choice every day. The photo in this post might be overwhelming for some – but I love what it represents! The decision made to create, the time I took to create with these bold colors, and the eventual quilt that I created.
Creative Affirmation:
I choose to create.
When I choose to create, I’m choosing me, and my well-being. I’m not being selfish, or overlooking my responsibilities. Taking the time to create is important to my well-being and my family knows that my time spent being creative is important to me. Understanding that looking after my well-being is just as important as making sure there’s food in the house for our teens, is a great distinction in this thinking too.
So many of these affirmations have had a similar underlying theme. Taking care of me, is just as important as taking care of those around me. I hope it is sinking in for you! This is so important in our daily lives, making sure that our creative spirit is given a chance to shine, and nurture ourselves.
