Much like the seams in my image, my creativity is without an end or limits. The repetitive nature of quilting often leads to an impressive number of units or seams in a project. As I use my creativity in creating quilts, it continues to grow. There is no endpoint to the creative journey, and I’m so excited about the next ideas, that I know are coming.
Creative Affirmation
My creativity knows no limits.
Even as life seems to have different stages, full of transition and change, my creativity is with me and is unlimited. With each new creative idea or thought, I am continuing my creative journey and allowing my creativity to grow. I know that not every idea is a winner, but that with each lesson learned or mistake made I’m still growing. Nurturing our creativity isn’t about always having the best idea, but seeing each idea through and learning from it.
Each day, each project, each seam or fabric choice is an opportunity to test your creative limits, and push right past them! I hope that as you consider your creative journey you push the boundaries and trust your intuition. You are very creative and you have so much evidence in every quilt you make!
