Creativity is a muscle, the more we use it in our lives, the bigger it grows. Using my creativity every day is really easy at this point, but that wasn’t always the case. I remember a time, where I didn’t feel very creative at all. Having grace for myself and acknowledging the small pockets of creativity in my daily life have helped me get to the creative space I now live in daily.
Creative Affirmation
I use my creativity every day.
Using your creativity every day starts with an intention. Decide that you are going to do one small thing each day, that is creative. Opening up what you think is a creative act will also help here! Are you more inclined to paint, or write? Perhaps photography is your outlet? Selecting a unique color palette, or finding a solution to a problem – are also creative. Including more things in your definition of creativity, will change your thinking on how creative you are too!
Using your creativity daily, is a great way to grow and expand your creative drive. Making creativity an automatic response for any situation that comes up and infusing my creativity in your days. I challenge you to repeat the affirmation daily this week and consider all the ways are you being creative. There’s no one way or “right” way to be creative, and where ever you are on your journey is perfect.
