Chromatic Cabins is a pattern I designed for Curated Quilts. Our second issue focused on Log Cabin quilts and I had a lot of fun with these over-sized blocks!
Color
I collected a group of Bella Solids for Chromatic Cabins that is cohesive in that it is all saturated tones. But there are definitely a few random, almost garish pops of color in there too. Taking a risk on some of the random color choices was fun!
Quilting
I have a new favorite digital quilting design called window pane. The design adds a geometric touch, yet still looks random. I love it for a lot of different quilts.
Overall Chromatic Cabins measures 72″x 72″ and is a lot of fun to make!
Happy Quilting –

I’m looking for a log cabin pattern that’s done in blues. It looks to me like a shadow box. It has a strip of white around each block.
Your chromatic cabin made me think that you might have it. Thanks for your help.
