There are a lot of quilt options when considering your next pattern to make! I know making a decision can be a challenge and wanted to share a few favorites from my pattern collection, and why.

#1 Dayhike

Dayhike is a Layer Cake quilt that sews up quickly. Some simple cuts that add interest to the fabric group, this quilt can be as colorful or calm as you like!

Diane said – “This pattern was great for working on a project that was easy and quick. I made a twin size from 40 fat quarters. I could only get 2 squares from each fat quarter. The remainder of the fat quarter was used for the quilt backing. Highly recommend for the beginner quilter or someone who wants a fast project.”

#2 Dart

Dart is scrap buster, and easy to come back to after a morning in the garden. Prints and solids work well in this quilt top, and it’s simple enough that you can have fun quilting it like I did.

Dianne said – “Going to take a bit of time to go through my stash for this one, but, I hope to get the top done as soon as possible. I love the free-spirited feel to the layout and look forward to seeing it come together.

#3 Talk of the Town

I recently made Talk of the Town again for my daughter’s graduation quilt, you can read more here. It is a simple patchwork quilt that is fat quarter friendly and a joy to sew up. If you want to use yardage, just cut strips and keep track of the number of squares cut as you work – that’s what I did!

Victoria M. said – “I had a fat quarter bundle that had been sitting around waiting for the right pattern, and Talk of the Town was perfect. The directions (as with all of Amy’s patterns) were easy to follow, and now I have a beautiful lap quilt just waiting for some soft minky, a little quilting, and its future as a tv watching/nap taking beauty!”

If you have any questions about these patterns, drop a comment and let me know how I can help!

Have a fantastic day–
