Hi friends! I have a quilt in the new issue of American Patchwork and Quilting, that is on newsstands now! Here’s a look at the cover so that you know what you are looking for at the store:
My quilt features Chic Neutrals fabrics, (in shops now) and is paper pieced.
I love the setting that they gave the quilt for photos! The quilt is calm and soothing in the midst of a cheery room.
Here’s the flat shot of the quilt, named “Neutral or Not?” the color is moving from corner to corner, in a subtle way. My favorite!
Funny story about the making of this quilt – I was behind in my deadlines in the spring, when this quilt needed to be turned in. The week it was due, I was headed to a networking event with Baby Lock, where the editors of American Patchwork and Quilting were also going to attend. I packed up my completed blocks, and enlisted help from the editors while in St. Louis! They were generous with their time, and super speedy! Asking for help is never a bad thing, and next year I’ve promised myself that I won’t over commit!
I’m headed back to the sewing machine for today, more soon!
Amy
Congratulations! It’s a great pattern.
Congratulations, it is beautiful
I love it and have it bookmarked!
The quilt and room are beautiful! I have been working on redecorating my bedroom and the room is now yellow. my favorite. Now I know what I want to make for my bed. I love pale green with a little grey in the dye and I already have the new art for the room. Thanks for the idea and your lovely quilt! :)
I saw it and it’s so cleverly done. I really love your style! Beautiful
Hi, I know it’s been many years since this article was published, but my friend is trying to make this quilt and the download for the paper piecing is no longer available at the site given in the article. Is it possible that you could point me in the right direction for this download?
