I’m so excited to share Chic Neutrals with you finally! I’ve been working on this fabric line on the computer for months, but to finally have it in fabric is amazing! Chic Neutrals will be in quilt shops a little later this summer.
I selected my favorite greys, and added in some yellow and purple to enrich all the grey. It reminds me of twilight, or a night in the city, with the bright lights and heavy shadows. There’s always something exciting around the next corner – I can’t wait to see what you sew up with Chic Neutrals!
There’s 38 cotton prints, and 8 linen prints too:
I always appreciate the weight and feel of linen in quilts and bags. Do you put linen in your quilts? Just curious.
To go with Chic Neutral fabrics, I have 3 new quilt patterns, a tote and table runner/napkin set for the linens. For the quilt patterns I included as many sizes as I could because I know how much you all love options, and I did my best to use precuts, since they are so fun to buy!
I’m making the twin size of Trinket, there’s also baby, throw, queen and king sizes included in the pattern. Depending on the size you want to make, a group of fat quarters or a Layer Cake is all you need!

Happy Hour is Honey Bun friendly, and all you need is one to make a baby, throw, twin or queen size quilt! Just add your favorite light print from the collection, and you are ready to get started. I love the gradient of color, and all the negative space, it’s going to be a favorite here, as soon as I get it finished!

My love of patchwork is coming through loud and clear with Talk of the Town, combining a few different blocks we have an interesting and simple quilt! You can make this quilt with as few as 5 fat quarters, or as many as 38, included in the pattern is baby, throw, twin, queen and king sizes.

Why not add a chic table runner and napkin set to your dining table! I love dressing up the table, and this runner is simple and sophisticated. No quilting involved, and I help you customize it to the size you want to make.

Of course whenever I have a beautiful piece of linen, I immediately think of a new bag. And the Uptown Tote is already a favorite here! I suggest a heavy weight fusible to create a sturdy, structured bag. Shown here, I used a cotton webbing for the handles, which is a great alternative to making tube handles, and it’s strong without any extra steps. It’s big enough to take to the library for a pile of books, or quilt guild with all of your sew & tell treasures tucked inside.

I’m busy stitching up these quilts and a few others this week, what are you up to? Don’t forget Blogger’s Quilt Festival is just around the corner, be thinking about the quilt you want to link up now!
Gus is growing like crazy, and fitting in to our family nicely! He’s such a fun pup, but he’s definitely turned my daytime routine on it’s head! I’m looking forward to him growing up a little more so I can trust him not to chew through fabric in my studio.
Let me know what you think of the fabric, and have a great week!
Amy
HOLY RAMOLLI!
Amy this is one gorgeeoooosooo fabric line. I am totally smitten! A must have on my fabric list. I loved your last collection of neutrals, but I must say this collection is so rich and wonderful. Can hardly wait to get my hands on a bundle. Lauren
Can’t wait to have these available! I absolutely love this color pallet. Great job.
I love it all! I really like the style of the uptown tote! I’m so excited !
Love it Amy!
Beautiful collection!
Also be careful with your pin cushion. My puppy likes to grab it and then pull the pins out.
What a great line! I love everything grey! :) I am going to finish piecing the strips of my Chain-Linked today. I did it in greys, yellow/citron & black!
I absolutely love this line and the patterns!! Fabulous Amy!!!
Amy, I can’t imagine the time and effort that you put into your new fabrics–and they are stunning! PLUS you designed all these terrific patterns and corralled a puppy long enough to get it all done! (They grow like crazy, don’t they–oh, kids and puppies alike!)
I love the fabric – oh, I’m drooling. I adore the Trinket pattern. I appreciate the various sizes in the pattern, too. Sometimes it’s straight forward to add rows or columns for the size needed but not so easy to calculate yardage. Also, it’s not always a trick that every quilter has learned yet either. Thanks for the post and the alert of more beautiful fabric.
Loving these fabrics Amy!
Tres chic! Looking forward to a pile of fat quarters.
Really like the prints on the linen as it is such a great fabric with so many uses. Some great designs and colours.
I LOVE these fabrics!! And linen. I don’t put it in my quilts, but certainly use them for bags and such.
I am so happy that your new line has linen! I love working linen into my quilts. I love the texture! Your new line is fabulous and right up my alley! Can’t wait to create something fabulous!
Love the prints in this line! Especially REALLY, REALLY love the little squares! Hugs,
