Welcome to the fourth Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I am so glad that you are here! I sincerely hope that you plan to enter a quilt and share in the festivities. Everyone is welcome, and encouraged to participate, no matter your skill level or number of quilts completed! There’s no judging in our festival, instead lots of new friends to be made and inspiration to be found!
I must begin by thanking our sponsors! Thank you all!! They have been generous and great to work with in the weeks leading up to today. Please take time to visit each of the shops and find a little something special for yourself.
While you hop through the list, let me know if you see a quilter you would like to have featured on my Friday, Festival Feature. I’m always in need of more Featured Quilters!
Ready to share your quilt?
Here’s what you need to do to participate: (Please read carefully)
- Write a new post (old posts will be deleted). Share one quilt, and it’s story. Why you made it, why it is special to you, what you learned about quilting/yourself while making it. The quilt doesn’t have to be brand new, never seen before on your blog – show what you like! Also, please respect my efforts and the efforts of the event sponsors, and do not offer giveaways in your Quilt Festival post.
- In your post, link back to the festival. You can do this with a button, just copy and paste the code into your post, if all else fails.
- Share a permalink to your post, in the linky. Right click on your post title to copy link address, then paste it in the linky.
- Leave me a comment to be entered in the giveaways. Maybe you can tell me approximately how many yards of fabric you have in your stash. It’s fun to learn something (be entertained) as I read all the comments.
- Visit all the other quilters sharing their quilts and be inspired!
- If you are on flickr, consider adding your entry to the Group Pool, it’s great to see all the quilts in the gallery!

I can’t wait to wake up in the morning and start browsing the links! And great giveaways!
Let the fun begin!!!
Wahoo! I’ve been so excited for this!! I have no idea how many yards in my stash…far too many. I must admit though I have a lot of different fabrics in smaller amount, 1 yard or less. I only have a few things that are more than a yard.
Thanks so much for this great festival!
Woot! I’m so excited to share this quilt with everyone! What I LOVE about your festival Amy is the focus on the story behind the quilt! I had a great time thinking about what quilt to share, and I realized how important this quilt was to my artistic development! ANd I can’t wait to see all the others!
Amy, we are super excited for fall quilt festival! My sis and I waited up late refreshing our computers! So fun, hope I win one of the many fun prizes!
I probably have 20 yards in my stash…is that alot? Doesn’t seem like too much…I will have to check others comments.
Thanks

Thank you so much again, Amy, for hosting this festival. I am so looking forward to being inspired by all the quilts and stories we will have the privilege to see over the next few days and weeks. This is great fun!
So excited about BQF!! How many yards of fabric do I have in my stash? I’m not sure that’s a quantifiable number! Maybe around 60 yards? I think a more telling question would be how many fat quarters I have: too many! Thanks for hosting BQF, Amy! You’re the best!
Hi Amy,
Thanks for hosting what I am sure will be another wonderful Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I am looking forward to checking out many of the lovely quilts.
My stash – I am not really a stasher – I tend to buy for specific projects.
Cheers,
Karen
Thanks Amy for putting in all this hard work! I really enjoy meeting other people in this format! I am sharing an inspiration quilt that started all this business and my first quilt. I hope you can come and visit.
Congrats again on your new book!!
So excited about this BQF since I didn’t manage to be in the last one.
Looking forward to seeing some gorgeous creations.
Thanks Amy for hosting this great event.

Yippie !!! The funtime is here again!! I just posted my entry, and I’m eager to spent some time looking at all those fabulous quilts around here. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Amy! I really appreciate all your work that goes with this. Have a great time!
Thank you to all the generous sponsors! And, thank you, Amy! I always look forward to the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. Very cute idea with the thumbnails, but I would love to also be able to see a list of the names of the blogs. Is that possible? Enjoy the week. http://debbiesfiberwork.blogspot.com

I’m so excited for BQF!
Thanks for organizing and hosting :) I’m sure it’s a lot of work.
Yardage in my stash … oh my … I bet if I added it all up, at least 100 yards, probably more. I have a problem. And I work at a fabric store so that doesn’t help! Cutting fabric for people all day only makes me want more. haha.
Hmmm…I probably have 20 yards? Beats me…who knows what’s in that shelf that I can’t see! Thank you for all your hard work Amy! :) -Allison
Amy!
Thanks for hosting this festival!!
:)
I love BQF! I barely completed my quilt in time before having to leave for Quilt Market. Between Market and viewing all the BQF entries, I think I’ll be on Quilty Over Stimulus Mode for awhile!
Thank you again Amy for organising the festival. It was my first festival last time and I loved it from start to finish. It’s such fun finding lots of new blogs and seeing lots of new quilts. Lynne X

Hi Amy, I did submit a comment just before by the system has done something very strange with it so you might want to delete it! So I’ll say a big thank you again for organising the festival – this is my second one and I had a blast first time round with all the new blogs to visit, quilts to see and new visitors to my blog. Lynne X
Just finished my quilt post and am ready to go!
I’m looking forward to seeing all the quilts. Thanks for hosting this event.
Thank-you Amy for all your hard work – I’m going to spend most of the day here….. as for how much fabric – too much to confess to on a public forum…..
I wish I had some idea of how yards of fabric are in my stash but I really have no idea. I know that most are less than 1/2 yard and some are really small. Thanks for hosting this!
Thanks for doing this, Amy. I am excited to find more talented quilters out there!
Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful event. I’ve entered my quilt and am looking forward to having a look at all of the other fabulous quilts on show.
Hi Amy,
I just found your blog 2 days ago and am so glad I did. Thank you for putting this quilt festival together! I hope I’ve done all the steps right! I can’t wait to look through all these quilts. So far they are just yummy!
Take care, Karen
This is so exciting. It is such a great idea, we are all appreciative to be a part of this.
Can’t wait to read everyones posts.
Wow! What great quilts in the show already – I’m so excited about seeing lots of great quilts here.
Thanks for organising this, Amy – and thanks to the sponsors too – what a generous bunch you’ve found!
How many yards of fabric do I have? More than I should, according to my DH, not enough pink according to DD2, and enough to pull my cupboards from the wall :-(. Stash now relugrated to ground based storage in drawers and plastic crates now……
Plum
Amy, Thanks so much for making the Blogger’s Quilt Festival possible again this season. I enjoy it so much! I know some people keep track of the yardage in their stash. I’m not sure I would want to know! I have mostly fat quarters, but let’s just say that I have enough fabric to quilt well into retirement and that won’t be for many years! Besides, I am always adding to my stash!
I’m already browsing the beautiful quilts. How exciting to hear the stories that go with the quilts. Thannks for doing thus Amy!
Sorry, can’t tell you how many yards I have, I mostly have FQ’s ;-)
No, I haven’t the slightest clue, but I guess it could be 50-100 yards. At least I know I could make more than 1 quilt out of it.
Heidi
I am excited to be joining in this time! I have far too much fabric! But lots of ideas- just not enough time to make them all!! Thanks for hosting!
yay, ´tis the season again!! so happy to participate and can´t wait to check out all those lovely quilts out there!!
Thanks so much, Amy!
Claudia
Hi Amy! I have added my link and tried to calculate how many yards of fabric that’s in my stash. I gave up around a mile and a half. I would say I have a lot despite my efforts to use only from stash and not keep adding to it.
Thanks for setting up the Blogger’s Quilt Festival again!
YAY! It’s here! Amy, I look so forward to this, I’ve met so many amazing quilters through you – thank you so much for doing this!
Stash? Not much of a stash anymore….sigh. I’m working on it though!
I so excited to share my latest quilt in the festival. Thanks again for hosting this amazing and inspiring event, Amy! As to my stash… it is big. I have no idea how much fabric I have. I try not to think about it too much. :)
I scared to even say how much Fabric I have in my Stash!
Let’s Say If I never bought any more Fabric I could sew non-stop for about a Year…..Yikes!
Excellent work, Amy! When I last counted (well, weighed) I had almost 1.4km of fabric in my stash; now it would be about 1.5km (almost a mile)!
Hi, Amy! Thanks for hosting this fun Quilt Festival! And congrats on the new book! Now, don’t let my husband read this, but I have a stash of fabric in a bookcase full of shoebox size bins, a stash of assorted batting on rolls that I store in the tub, a stash of upholstery fabrics in nine or ten large bins and garbage bags on shelves in the garage, a stash of 19 unquilted quilt tops of my own in a bin under my longarm machine, plus a stash of clients’ quilts on hangers in my closet that will take me through Christmas and beyone, a stash of buttons in jars on my cutting table, a stash of 80 cones of thread on a shelf, and a stash of 59 UFOs on shelves and in the window seat. I also have a stash of quilted table runners in a bin in the kitchen and a stash of quilts that fill the linen closet to the brim… yup, I am a quilter.
Trying again, my other comment doesn’t seem to have gotten through. I’d like to thank all the generous sponsors and especially Amy for her work and providing us with this fun! Have a great weekend. http://debbiesfiberwork.blogspot.com
These Bloggers’ Quilt Festivals are such a wonderful idea — it is so great to see all the beautiful quilts and meet bloggers that one perhaps would not have come across were it not for the Festival!
Thanks for all the work you put into this. It is really appreciated!
How much yardage in my stash? I haven’t a clue as I’m mostly a scrap quilter and tend to buy FQs and half yards.
Is it that time of year already? Thanks for hosting this Blogger’s Quilt festival again. I can’t wait to look at all the lovely blogs and be inspired.
How much yardage I have is impossible to tell and would take me ages and probably break my brain trying to do the maths. I mainly have FQs and half yards, but loads of those, whole collections. Some Pat Bravo lines, Patty Young, Heather Ross FFA2, Laura Gunn, Laurie Wisbrun, Jessica Levitt, those are some of my faves, and of course Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett. I honestly think I have enough fabric to last the next 20 years (if I keep working by hand that is and keep making reversible quilts), but can’t even bear the though that I shouldn’t buy any more fabric. :)
Yahoo! Just got my quilt posted and I cant wait to start looking at all the posts! Thanks Amy for putting this together!
Thank you for hosting this lovely virtual quilt show!!!!
; )
I’m really pleased to be able to participate in all the festivals so far. What a wonderful idea this was. Thank you so much for all you do for us blogging quilters.
Dana Fisher
Yikes, I totally forgot to add that I have no idea how many yards of fabric are in my stash. Really. No idea.
How many yards in my stash? That is top secret information – you never know what my husband might be reading. Let’s just say more than I can count on my fingers and toes. Thanks for another amazing festival – I can’t wait to start visiting all these gorgeous quilts!
AAAHHH!! Im am SO excited!! Its my First Festival and I am having a ball sitting checking out everyones AMAZING quilts! What a fantatsic way to get everyone together and share our passion! ….mmmm…yardage??? Maybe 20 yards? Prob not much as i try and use most of my fabric in each quilt and then give it away with a pattern…xx Thanks so much!! xx
Thanks again Amy for hosting this – its greatly appreciated!!! I literally have thousands and thousands of yds in my stash. Last summer I did a huge stash sell-off – sold off about 1/5th of my collection which was over 1000 yds – I sold it for only 2 bucks a yd and earned enough to go to Quilt conference next year for a week! My quilt friends are happy for a bargain – I’m happy to go to Quilting by the Lake and my stash is so much easier to navigate now!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to check out so many great quilts :)
I’m headed camping tomorrow with a group of Sparks and Brownies (Girl Guides), so I won’t be posting until Monday… Thanks for hosting this.
As for how many yards of fabric… now that is a nasty question. Do I need to answer by fabric type. Quilting cottons – I have less than 100m! But that doesn’t really highlight my stash that includes fleece, denim, home dec, knits, outerwear, and much more! I probably have more than 1000m, but it is decreasing! YEAH!!!!
Amy, I’m so excited – this is my first blogger’s quilt festival … Thank you so much for hosting this festival. This’s great fun!Marina
I love to see everyone’s quilts, is anyone as obsessed as a quilter, lol! I don’t know how much fabric I have in my stash, I’m not sure I want to know — and I make a conscious effort not to add to it. And STILL I could make at least a dozen quilts and not buy fabric but backing materials. Busy making a monster queen sized quilt with a whole lotta flying geese this week. Have 178 geese units to make for one of my borders, diving into that this weekend. There is a central blocks unit (done), pieced border (done and sewn on), 2 narrow plain borders (cut, sewing those on today), a pieced border (the 178 flying geese, cut, to be pieced) and a final border (cut).
Thanks you so much Amy for undertaking such an enormous task. It is so appreciated. There is going to be some serious commenting going on in these parts.
Thanks, Amy, for organising such a wonderful festival. This is the first time I have had the opportunity to participate and I am so excited. In the past it has taken me weeks and weeks to go through the quilts in the festival and look at all the blogs for each one. I have found so much inspiration along the way. I am looking forward to discovering more new sites and enjoying all the great work on display.
Hello Amy,
I have just posted my entry to the Quilt Festival. Thanks for organising the Show again and thanks for the chance in the give aways! :-)
Kristina
Wow, Amy! Looks like the BQF is off to a humming start already–so many colorful links! Thank you for the time to take to organise this. I’m sure I’m not the only quilter who gets a lot of pleasure from seeing the quilts.
Now, how many yards of fabric does my stash comprise? Uh… Well, it’s mostly FQ and F8th packs, jelly rolls and charm packs although there is some meterage. A quick head count suggests around 50. (And I think my stash is small!)
Hazle
What a wonderful way to connect with other quilters. I live in Ireland and I am so inspired by all of the wonderful quilters out there in cyberspace. I just wish I lived in the USA so I could could see some of your work and share your quilt shows, classes and festivals.
Thanks for allowing me a lone quilter in Ireland to share in this festival!
Thanks my for once again hosting this great event for everyone. Can’t wait to get inspired by all the lovely quilty photos out there. I have no idea how many yards of fabric I have in my stash and actually don’t really want to know..that would be scary! But you can never have enough right?
Thanks Amy for hosting this again. I can’t wait to read all the entries. As far as how many yards of fabric I have…hmmm… not really sure…how about too much but yet not enough ;-)
Hi Amy, thanks again for a wonderful online quilt festival. I just added my link to the list. I love how we can see the thumbnail of each quilts, a nice touch – Hugs Nat
Thank you for hosting another Quilt Festival. It is great to see thumbnail pictures! Can´t wait to check out all those lovely quilts out there!!
Thanks for doing this again! There is way too much fabric in my stash to count the yards!
Looking forward to seeing all of the beautiful quilts! The format is nice this year – I like the thumbnails. And how many yards are in my stash??? I have no idea, but I am sure it is nearing 1,000…
It’s one of the most wonderful days of the year! The Bloggers Quilt Festival!! Thank you Amy for organizing this inspiring show of creativity and talent!! It is because of the festival that I started blogging a year ago!! It has changed my life, and I have “met” so many amazing quilters that are now friends!
This is going to be a fun week of beautiful quilts and getting to know new people. Thanks for organising such a great festival for quilty bloggers!!
Oh, I’m so excited about this quilt festival! Such a wonderful idea. I’m a new quilter and participating for the first time. So fun to see all these great quilts. btw – I have no idea how much is in my stash already, but probably about 50 yrds or so?
I’m looking forward to seeing all the quilts. Thank you for undertaking such a big task.
As far as my stash, I don’t exactly know how much I have. I don’t think I’d win the “she who has the most fabric” contest, but I have enough to keep me busy for a very long time.
Wow, there are so many awesome giveaways! This is such an awesome thing to host, Amy, I’m really excited to go see what everyone has to show for the festival. Thank you so much for hosting this!! As for something about me, I haven’t a clue how much fabric is in my stash, but I’d guess it’s in excess of 150 yds or so. Eek! Don’t tell my husband!
I love the thumbnails, Amy! Thanks for hosting this again…can’t wait to see all the quilts. I don’t even want to try to count the yards in my stash…my husband might be stalking my comments!!
I posted an entry about my first foray into math quilts: http://domesticat.net/2010/10/intro-penmanship-bloggers-quilt-festival-2010 To my knowledge, it’s the first Penrose cartwheel quilt in existence.
Thanks for hosting! This is going to be fun to tour all the quilts!
I’m so happy I could add into the blogger’s quilt festival. I’m driving out to market today, but I wanted to add my link… so at 5 something A.M. I’m here, & I’m in. I hope I win!
Jen of ReannaLily Designs
I am super excited to be part of the festival this year! You do such a spectacular job of organizing this – last year was so inspiring :) hmmm… yards of fabric, now that is a scary question [luckily I don’t think my husband will be reading this] – probably at least a couple hundred yards. Yikes!
I do not know, nor do I care to know how many yards are in my stash. (Too many & not enough at the same time.)
Hurray! It’s started, it’s started! Thanks for all your hard work, Amy!
This is my first BQF…thanks for setting it up. Stash??? More yards than I will use in 2 lifetimes, and more expected. As a guess, easily 300!
well, I didn’t get my bird quilt finished – maybe for spring. But I did share my LOVE quilt. It’s my most recent finish and something I’m really proud of doing all by myself. :) Thanks for hosting such a wonderful event! I’m proud to know you and consider you a friend! xo
Hi Amy, Thanks for all your work! I enjoyed making my quilt so much because it was going to a blogging friend I’d never met before last week. I’m so glad the quilt festival was scheduled after I finished it! By the way, I have no clue on yards in stash…probably under 25.
This is the third time I’m trying to comment. Let’s hope it goes through this time. :) This is my 4th Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I’d like to thank all the generous sponsors and, especially Amy, for all the fun! I’m going to enjoy going through the blogs and finding new bloggers. http://debbiesfiberwork.blogspot.com
Hi Amy! Thanks for hosting this event! I probably have a hundred yards of fabric in my stash… but who really knows! :)
Amy, this is one of my favorite blog events! Thanks so very much for all of your hardwork and organization to make this event happen. It will be wonderful meeting all these quilts this next week. Again, THANK YOU!
Thank you so much for the thumbnail options- it looks really cool!
Amy-Thank you for hosting this fun event again. I can’t wait to go and visit everyone’s quilts. What a great weekend this will be to get inspired and drool over everyone’s hard work. One never tired of looking at all the color and design created with quilting.
OK, I’m a dork. I put the wrong link on one of my links so I re-posted it. Sorry, forgive me? If you want you can delete the link that goes to the blog url and not the post url… (I blame it on lack of coffee…LOL). Thanks to you and your sponsors for allowing us some brag (and learning) space!
I can’t wait to see to everyone’s quilts and get lotsa inspirations and ideas… plus the courage to try a new technique or two!
Blogger’s Quilt Festival rocks!!!!!
Amy this is my first time enter your festival! I have at least a thousand yards of fabric in my stash. I have been quilting for a long time!
Thank you so much for running this! I heard about your festival on Amylouwho’s website. I love your blog! I am doubly excited to post my linky because this is actually my very first quilt, and I just finished it last night! I’m looking forward to seeing all the other (more advanced) quilts! lol! :-)
Thanks for hosting such a fun party — I look forward to it for weeks!
As for my stash, I’ve been on a fabric diet this year. Between a 10 inch flood and a serious effort to use up what I have previously purchased, I’ve gone from 16 large storage containers of fabric down to about seven. My husband is thrilled, but I’m wondering what I can do to replenish it again! :)
I have just posted my antique schoolhouse quilt. Hope you enjoy it. Can’t even imagine how many yards I have, a gazillion may be close.
Thanks. Hope to see you at the HMQS this spring.
I’ve posted my miniature pink and white quilt for the festival, this quilt actual has been to Houston for that other festival.
Again I’m guessing I have about a gazillion yards of fabric.
Thanks.
Thanks for sharing all of these! What a great idea. This is not only inspiring me to do some more quilting but to blog about it too. :)
Whew Amy – thanks for doing this again! How many yards of fabric in my stash? = way too many!!! I’ll have to get back to you on that after I spend a day locating it throughout the house and measuring it!
Cool! I love the new link tool which shows a thumbnail of everyone’s quilts! This is going to be so fun to check out all the beautiful work out there. I love being able to connect with so many other quilters from all over this great world. Thanks Amy!
This is a wonderful event. I so enjoy discovering more quilt bloggers.
Once again, thank you for hosting this wonderful event, Amy! This really is one of my favorite festivals to browse through and ohhhh and ahhhh over all the creativity and talent found around the world :-)
Blessings,
Tammy
Garden Glimpses
This is my second time in the festival! Looking forward to seeing all the quilts! I have a small stash as I TRY to only buy when I need fabric for a project.
Hi Amy I LOVE the new layout, I’ve been following the blog and the quilt festival for a while, but being able to see the quilt in the link is awesome! I hope my quilt is acceptable for a first entry. :-)
Benta
So excited to see all the gorgeous quilts again! Thanks for hosting the festival, Amy!
Number of yards in my stash….I have absolutely no idea. A lot, though. :)
Thank you, Amy, for hosting this festival again. It is so much fun. How much yardage in my stash? LOL. I have NO clue.
Thank you for this great idea! It is my very first Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I love having a look at all the quilts. It is so inspiring :) Regarding how many fabric yards I own… I do not have a big stash yet. I am quite new to quilting, and I mostly buy pre-cuts… as fabric is so expensive and so difficult to get here in Europe :(
Hi Amy
I LOVE the new layout. I’ve been following the festival and your blog for a while, but being able to see the thumbnails is awesome
I hope my quilt is an acceptable first entry :-)
Thank you so much for arranging this
Benta
First time I have seen or been in the festival- what a generous thing to host and a great way to find out more about different bloggers. I thought my stash was small but when I think about yardage I start to worry- I can’t fess up, but I have plans for it all!
I haven’t a clue how many yards I have. Most of my stash is in fat quarters but I’ve been buying some yardage when I spot a bargain. Of course I then end up stuffing it in different places all over the house and forget what I’ve got! I’m planning a play with stash weekend so who knows what delights I’ll find!
This is new to me. I’m looking forward to begin inspired by others. Thanks for sponsoring this. Great idea.
Amy’s thanks for organizing this quilt festival!! I can’t wait look at all the quilts and read the stories.
Thanks for hosting!
As for my stash, I am afraid to inventory too much but I have been using it up this last year. Makes room for newer stash.
Just linked my post! Thanks so much for hosting this again. I have to admit, I am scared to try to figure out how many yards are in my stash. I’ve been stash-building for 17 years. Do fabrics in kits count? Oh my, I don’t think I want to know. I don’t want to know how much fabric I added to my stash just this year – LOL!
Thanks for doing this again – it is so much fun. I have a closet full of stash fabric, at least 1,000 yards. Shh! Don’t tell my husband! What he doesn’t know won’t bother him.
Thanks for hosting! I can’t wait to look through all the quilts. My stash probably is only about 5 yards. I’m the type that only buys fabric if I have a specific project in mind – my budget can’t survive any other way. If I let myself, I’m sure there would be much more there, there are so many beautiful fabrics out there. Here’s hoping there are many new projects in the future. :)
Hi Amy,
I have added my link and am so excited to participate in this Quilt Festival. Thanks so much for organizing and hosting it.
Please enter me in the giveaway.
Brenda
Such fun! I am enjoying all the quilts. I don’t blog so no link for me but I do enjoy all the inspiration here Amy!
WOW, thank you I just found you a few weeks ago and this is wonderful. Please enter me in the drawings. I show my quilts every Saturday and to see all these in one point is great, again thanks,
Thank you AMY! You are such a doll. We’re all so lucky to have you blogging with us! Thanks for inspiring & supporting us!
When my alarm went off this morning, I rolled over to hit the snooze as usual. But then I remembered it’s Blogger’s Quilt Festival day! Gotta get up!
How many yards to I have in my stash? Hmm. Probably not as many as most people. Maybe 20? Or perhaps I’m delusional.
Thanks so much for hosting such a wonderful meet-up of bloggers! I my stash… oh dear. Well, if you count the 17 wal-mart bags full of scraps that my mom dropped off last week….. just kidding. There were only 8. Yes, ahem, counting that I would guess that I have between 50 and 75 yards in my stash. And very good intentions of using all of them!
WOW !! Look at all of these already ! What a great response ALREADY !!! Will need to find MORE time for the computer checking these all out and I’m supposed to be sewing a Christmas gift !!!! Great job already Amy !
Thanks for a great Festival. I have no idea (nor do I want to) of how much I have in my stash. I am in a pleasant state of denial thank you very much!
Thanks for a great Festival. I have no idea (nor do I want to) of how much I have in my stash. I am in a pleasant state of denial thank you very much!
Look at all of these amazing quilts…I know how I am spending my rainy weekend…food in the crockpot and me sitting in front of my computer…teh family can fend for themselves while I go to a festival! LOL My stash – I have no clue how many yards are in it, there are so many scraps, fat quarters, scraps, yardage, scraps. I really have no idea how much yardage is there.
Thanks for hosting the festival again! Love it!
Amy!
Thanks for hosting this festival!I have added my link and am so excited to participate in this Quilt Festival.
How much yardage do I have? No idea. Less than 100 I think, (about half is clothing fabric) but I just ordered some discontinued Snippets and Wee Play so I think my yardage is getting back up there. :) When is too much really too much?
Hi Amy, Thanks for hosting this fun event!! I shared a quilt I made for my sister :) Re: how many yards of fabric I have in my stash…OMG, I have no idea…but it is A LOT!
Wow, I’ll have to throw out a guess on the yardage I have…I’d say it’s probably about 15?
Thank you for organizing; I can’t wait to sit and read about all these wonderful quilts!
How much yardage? Less than 50 yards (about half of it is clothing fabric)I think/hope. But I just ordered some discontinued Snippets and Wee Play by American Jane so the yardage is about to go up. :)
Hi Amy, I have tried and tried, but am not able to link my post to the linky. I know you have a lot going on today, but just wondered what I might be doing wrong.
Here is my link.

Thanks for another great Quilt Festival.
Just added my sister’s quilt to the festival. Thanks so much for putting this together again! It looks like we will be looking through quilts for a long time! :) As to my stash… I have no idea how much yardage I have. I’ve got a bunch of fat quarter sets, panels, jelly rolls, half yards, and big yardage for quilt backs in my stash, along with almost a full bolt of white. I never really keep track of how many yards I have, so its hard for me to estimate. I’m sure its up there!
Thanks so much for doing this! I can’t wait to see all the beautiful quilts!
http://fakeitwhileyoumakeit.blogspot.com/2010/10/bloggers-quilt-festival.html
My stash is slowly dwindling. I’ve been actively making it go away by making quilts for each of my niece & nephews (4 down, 7 to go). I’ve also gotten great joy in shipping off pieces that I love, but have grown tired of through blog give aways. What I really need to work on, is the 3 bins of fabric I bought to sew clothes. What was I thinking? I’m a terrible tailor.
Thanks for this fun opportunity to enter a quilt show! Can’t wait to sit down when my little guy naps and enjoy all the quilts…just from the thumbnails, they all look amazing!
Not sure how much fabric I have, but I have 3 of the same sewing machine, Elna Supermatic*s from 1964, making them more than twice my age (I’m 22). I’ve looked into modern machines, but I cant find one with more features and a longer arm until I get into the $1000+ range, and I’d rather spend that on more fabric.
Thanks for hosting again. I just published my post, and I can’t wait to check out all these other amazing quilts. I love the linky pictures. It’s so cool to get a little preview of all the quilts.
Another great online quilt show….another week of killing time on the computer reading all the posts! Amy, I have no idea how many yards of fabric are in my stash, I sort of hate to figure it up, too scary!
What a wonderful way to wake up this morning! Thank you so much for organizing this Amy!
I have no idea how many yards I have, but I’ll be realistic and say it’s probably close to 100.
I really love this festival. I know that it is alot of work for you…but so much fun for us:) Thank you
I have enjoyed looking at many of the bloggers’ entries already and am looking forward to seeing more. The quilts are so inspiring. They have given me some good ideas to add to my “to do” list. I probably have 200 yards of fabric. Recently went to a whole bolt sale. Luckily they will be used up for some backings.
Amy,
Thanks for doing the festival again. I am off to look at quilts now!
Carol
This is such a great idea, this is my first year and am loving looking at all the fantastic quilts and reading the stories! And not to mention the prizes!!
Thanks so much Amy, for getting my link to work :-) Now to sit back and enjoy the Quilt Festival.
I just started quilting so I only have about 5 yards in my stash. Thanks for hosting the giveaway and all the wonderful inspiration!
Thank you so much for having the show for us. I was feeling a little sad I couldn’t go to Houston this year to see all the wonderful quilts and being in your show brighten my week up for sure!
This is my third quilt festival and I love taking part so much, and look forward to this bonanza of amazing quilts and blogs. Thanks so much for hosting this again Amy!
I’ve entered my quilt in the BQF Fall 2010! http://livelystitches.blogspot.com/2010/10/bloggers-quilt-festival-fall-2010.html As far as how much stash I have, I don’t even know where or how to begin to estimate that…
I don’t want to know how many yards are there! It’s about 35 years of accumulating and I save all scraps bigger than 1 1/2 ” square. But I’d love to have more so enter me in your giveaway!
I almost forgot to add my link and comment!! I love the format for the links this time…the pictures are great. It’s so much easier for me to remember a picture rather than a name! Thanks Amy!
Hi, Amy! I’m so happy to be posting on the Bloggers Quilt Festival again! And I have no idea how many yards of fabric are in my stash – I think I’d be afraid to find out! But probably half of my stash was donated this year for our quilt ministry by lots of my fabulous quilt blog friends – so here’s a shout out to them!!
I can’t wait to check out the quilts in this year’s festival!!
Love, love, love the thumbnail links for the quilts! This is my first time entering, and I think it’s a fabulous idea. Thanks so much for hosting it. I really have no idea how many yards are in my stash, but if I had to guess it’s probably 100-150 which is a very scary thought to me. I really need to stop buying fabric and start sewing from my stash exclusively. There are just too many cute designs out there. I can’t stop myself!
I am not sure I have done this all correctly but have a blog entry posted for the Blogger’s Quilt Festival now. You asked the question “How many yard in your stash?” That is a hard one to answer but I can tell you I have lots and most of it is fat quarters. I do a lot of miniatures so fat quarters go a long way.
Gee I’m having trouble getting my comment posted…this may be a duplicate. I like the clickable photos…much easier to remember than names…for me!!
just put my link and picture on the festival…this time i’m not number six hundred something!! i do not know how to put your linky or blinkie or whatever it’s called on my site, but i did put a link to here on there. if someone can tell me how to do it on blogspot, i’d appreciate it. copying it doesn’t seem to work but i could be doing it wrong…am probably doing it wrong!! i don’t know what a permalink is, so need to know what that is too. last time my daughter put the blinkie/linky/button on my site for me. i will try to get the picture on flickr also. just love this festival…such inspiration and i’ve tried things and colors i never would have tried because of what all the wonderful quilters did last year!! thanks so much amy for doing this!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for sponsoring the quilt festival. This is my first time. Will definitely enjoy all o the creativity I will see here.
Charlsey
Thanks for the fun quilt festival!! I can’t wait to check out all the entries. Hmmm how much fabric do I have in my stash? Not much actually! I really do try my best to buy what I need and use it up, my stash is mostly scraps. I guess if I had to put a number on it, I’d say *maybe* 30 yards of fabric total. but most of that is scraps.
Cheers!
Rachel
This is great fun Amy… wonderful idea.
Number of yards.. I’d guess more than 200 but less than 350. Oh my that’s a lot!!
I can’t believe I only just found this – it’s so inspiring. Thanks!
This is awesome. I am fairly new to quilting but every time I go to a new shop I buy a kit and probably have 15 quilts waiting to be started plus 50 yards of stash. I always buy at least three yards when I like a fabric.
Amy, thanks for all of your hard work on this event yet again! I really love BQF, it’s so awesome to see hundreds of great quilts in one place. I always find more blogs to add to my reader. (I’m not sure that’s a good thing. haha)
Jaclyn
Amy,
The show has just started and there are so many wonderful quilts already displayed. I like your new linky tool, even though I had problems and wasn’t able to upload an image (I’m hoping you can help me out and I’ve sent you an email). Great, great prizes too. Thanks to all the sponsors and to Amy for this fun show!

Hmm… how many yards of fabric do I have in my stash? Well, I just started collecting at the end of September, and I’d say I have about 15 yards of fabric. That’s just a guess.
Amy,
Thank you for hosting this event. I look forward to the next 7 days of being inspired. This is AWESOME!!! LOL!
Michelle
I love the new format with the linkies! Amazing eye candy!! Better get to work so I finish my entry by next Friday. Look at the turnout already!! My favorite thing…thanks for hosting, Amy!
Thanks so much for hosting the quilt festival again! I think I’ve got about 20 yards of fabric in my stash… give or take about ten. ;)
Thanks for hosting the quilt festival again! I think I’ve got about 20 yards of fabric in my stash… give or take about ten. ;)
Thanks for hosting this great event. As far as approximate yards in my stash: I totally don’t want to know! : )
Thanks for hosting this great event! I posted mine this morning! :)
Oh boy, I wouldn’t even be able to attempt guessing how many yards of fabric I have…..
If we were to count 4″ I-Spy squares (my current obsession!), I would guess it’s in the thousands. Probably the 3,000’s. Yikes!
Thanks for hosting the festival! It’s always so fun to see what other quilters are creating!
Thank you for hosting this! I am so excited to have the chance to particpate. I have not nearly enough yardage in my stash. Most of it has a purpose so I don’t count it. So that leave maybe 15 yards of stuff and some of that is sweats and knits and pul for diapers. Maybe 5 of it is for quilting. ;)
Thank you for organizing this festival. It is my first time joining in. I can’t wait to look at all the other gorgeous quilts and be inspired.
Thanks Amy for hosting another Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I’m going to have to enjoy most of it after making a 1200 mile move–tomorrow the computer’s are going to be packed up. It will give me something to look forward to.
As for the amount of fabric I have, I don’t know. However, I can tell you that fabric makes good packing material for things like dishes and other breakable items.
Thanks for the chance to appreciate what a crazy life I truly live and how amazing it is that I get as much done as I do. I posted my quilt My Life: Crazy Strings A Minute to remind all of us that we are capable of far more than even we ever dreamed possible!
I must have a bazillion yards in stash. Two dressers full, two huge tubs full, 6 more drawers in various locations, and a bookcase full. Hi, my name’s Debbie and I’m a fabric addict. I have made two queen size scrappy quilts – 50 fabrics each – and I didn’t use the same fabric twice on either quilt. For instance.
Happy quilting! Beautiful quilts!
Amy, this is always a special time for us all. Thanks for taking your time to put together this wonderful blog hop! I’m off to do some hoppin myself!
Thank you Amy for doing thsi once again! I do look forward to it.
How much stash do I have? No idea, it’s scary to contemplate! Perhaps 100 yards? Not as much as some, but a lot for a small space!
Can’t wait to look at all the quilts! Thanks Amy for hosting this great event once again :^) Poste.d on my blog and put up the link.
I look forward to your hosting this fun week! Thanks for all the work that you do to get it going!
How many yards of fabric ~ I would guess around 20 of cottons, but I’m not sure if any of that is a full yard, and probably 20 more yards of knits, fleece, and any poly-mixes. I also have a lot of scraps, some cut up into charms and smaller squares, and a couple boxes of a “mess” of scraps.
Thanks for the chance at these great prizes!
ourbusylittlebunch(at)hotmail(dot)com
Wow oh Wow! look at all the beautiful entries! Amy, another great festival that will keep me glued to my computer for days reading all the great stories!! I have no idea how many yards of stash fabric I have, it seems to multiply each and every day!
Thank you so much for the Quilt Festival. I have never done anything like this before. I am so new to quilting and blogging and am really loving it. I hope to have many more to choose from next year. I learned so much, it is too hard to choose one specific thing I learned while making this quilt, but I think now knowing how to finish it after making the top has had the most impact on me. http://lauralovesquilting.blogspot.com/
Hi Amy, thanks for hosting the Bloggers’ Quilt Festival. I have lots of fabric, but not all of its very pretty! Most of it was donated to me by “older” ladies who no longer want to or can sew. When making a quilt I can pull some fabric from my stash, but not usually without supplementing it at the fabric store. I do try to use as much of the stash as I can. Who knows, some day I may use it all. I’m sure I could sew for the rest of my days and not run out!
Debbie J.
Thank you Amy for having this wonderful quilt show again. And having the thumbnails of the quilts is a great idea.
How many yards in my stash, oh dear, I would hate to have that get out!! It is way more than I like and I am sure that in the rest of my life I will not be able to get rid of it. One probably is that it just keeps reproducing, honestly. I shut the door and the next time I go in there it has increased. Just how does that happen!!??
Everyone have a good time.
Hi Amy, thanks for hosting the Bloggers’ quilt festival. I enjoy it alot.
I have lots of stash fabric, but its not all too pretty. Most of it was given to me by “older” ladies who don’t or can’t sew any more. I try to use it as much as I can, but end up supplementing it from the fabric store. I think if I made myself not buy fabric I could sew for the rest of my life just using what I have. :o)
Debbie J.
WOW!! There are so many beautiful quilts! I can’t wait to explore the sites and see the stories! I’ll have mine up by the end of the day.
So, yards of fabric?? I have absolutely NO IDEA! I do know that I have 8 large Rubbermaid bins FULL plus all that lives in my studio. I guess I need to organize:)
Thanks so much for doing this. I am posting my quilt today.
Hi Amy,
I like being able to see a photo of the quilt that is entered in the festival. I’m having trouble uploading my own, but I know that it will work eventually.
Please enter me in your giveaways……I’m whittling down an old collection of fabrics, 2 chests of drawers full, and really would like to win some fresh new fabrics.
The quilts shown just get better and better each year – thank you for hosting it once again. I am going to enjoy looking at the quilts for weeks to come.
Karen

Yards of fabric?! Yikes! That’s like looking in the mirror too closely. I bet that there are easily 100 yards of fabric…but that could be an underestimate. More fabric comes in than goes out unfortunately. I wish I could work with all it the way that I want to!
WhoooHooo! I am so excited to be a part of your BQF!! Let the festivities begin :o).
Thank you Amy putting this festival together. Always great to “meet” new-to-me bloggers. Now I will never get anything done. LOL.
Thanks for having this wonderful Blogger Quilt Festival! So much fun to enter and to see everyone’s quilts.
Yay! This is so much fun! Luckily I finally uploaded and posted my quilt so I could join in!
Oooh, I love this festival. I have 40 gazillion yards of fun fabric in my stash. On to the loveliness!
Amy, I love the thumbnails of the quilts on your blog for this festival! There are some great quilts! thanks as always for hosting!
Yay! Finally done my blog post for the quilt festival!
My personal fabric stash is quite small. Maybe 5-6 yards total?
The thing is, I run a very tiny online fabric shop so if I have to include that, it’s more like a hundred yards! :P
I seem to be having some trouble on the first try posting… argh. Second time is a charm, I hope! Thanks for hosting the festival Amy! I love seeing the thumbnails of the quilts right on your blog! They are all so wonderful!
Thank you, Amy for having this Blogger Quilt Festival. It is my first time to enter in this festival and I have been very excited about it!
As far as my stash goes, I have tons and tons…..literally! I have been sewing all my life and I’m sure I have fabric in my stash from the 70’s! Everytime I pull out a piece from the “old days”, it still reminds me of a memory. Isn’t that what quilts and quilting is all about….preserving memories?
My sewing/craft room is a disaster! I don’t have neat little piles of color coordinated fabrics, or fancy dowels holding my ribbons. I have piles. Monstrous piles of scraps, floral antique sheets, cheap ugly fat quarter samples, papers and misc stuff. On the bright side, I find nice surprises once in awhile that I’d forgotten about ;)
Let’s be honest- I have NO idea how many yards of fabric I have in my stash and I don’t think I want to know because then I’d feel accountable and guilty every time I brought home more. Nope- in this case, ignorance is bliss. :)
Amy – the photos are fabulous! What a great feature for the festival. Yards of fabric? I dare not count, although I do have it all in one place and visible so I’m not buying what I already have! Now I’m off to admire all the beautiful quilts and talented quilters!
I’ve been looking forward to this. Can’t stop, places to go, quilts to see …..
A big THANK YOU to all the sponsors! Wish I was in Houston again for the show. As far as my stash….well, I have a bedroom with shelves & racks , like quilt shop, filled with bolts & bins of fat qtrs. This is 25+ years of collecting fabric, so, I have no idea exactly how many yards I have. But, as all quilter’s know…one can NEVER have too much fabric!
Thank you so much again, Amy, for hosting this wonderful festival again! see all the photos together is just fantastic!!!
Amy, thanks for posting this festival again. I’ve entered every time and love reading all the entries. Lets see,i have maybe about 75 yds, but that includes fat quarters, jelly rolls, and yardage and scraps.
So excited to see so many gorgeous quilts. I love the new feature that has the thumbnails of the quilts. That way I’ll be able to go back to a quilt I especially like quickly.
Thank you Amy for providing this opportunity of eye candy and to meet so many online quilters.
I don’t have a ton of scraps because I have only ever sewn together 3/4 of one quilt top and I have had to go get more fabric. :) I started it 5 years ago and am getting very motivated to finish it. (it was a very ambitious one to start with.)I love the look of quilts and now that my babies are a little older I feel that I can try and learn again. Would love to win something to help with that!
Thanks for another fun blogger’s quilt festival. It is fun to see all the quilts as little thumbnails.
Thanks, Amy, for all your hard work on this! Thanks to the great prize sponsors, too! Now to go look at some quilts:)
Thank you for hosting the BQF! I look forward to seeing all the wonderful quilts! I have a very small stash. I only buy fabric with a project in mind, so my stash is all small scraps.
Once again ….. thank you …. for putting this festival together. There are so many lovely quilts to look at and new friends to meet. Love the idea of the thumbnails! This time around, I chose a jacket to enter.
WOW! Lots and lots of great quilts this year! I couldn’t pick just one, but because I’m new at this I posted all of my quilts thus far!
As for how much yardage I have? I have never counted, maybe I should!
What a swell idea!! I love the 1930’s fabric and have a massive stash awaiting a cutie rainbow log cabin quilt that I’ve had planned in my head for years! This quilt let me use about 2 yards of the stash (didn’t even make a noticeable dent!)….Anyhow, someday!! Thanks for organizing this festival…
Another great job Amy, thanks a bunch!!!
Hi Amy! This is my first time participating in your Blogger’s Quilt Festival and I’m really excited to be a part of it! :-) I shared a very special quilt that I made for a little guy named Max who was born almost 3 months premature. I’m afraid that my stash is pretty slim, because I’m a fairly new quilter, but I’m working on it. lol I can’t wait to spend some time this weekend looking at all of the amazing quilts that other blogger’s are sharing! :-)
Amy – I’m LOVING the picture linky. So fun to get a birds-eye view of everything. Thanks!!
Thanks! Can’t wait to be inspired by all the talented quilters out there! I have no idea how much fabric I have, but it makes me happy to look at it all stacked up and colorful!!
I can’t believe the talent everyone has. Quilters are just the best! Thank you so much for organizing this. I’m loving every minute of it.
So excited to be a part of this quilt fest! :) I’ve got maybe 15-20 yds of fabric in my stash… not too much I think. :) Now to get looking at all these beauties!!!
Yay! I’m so excited to enter again!! I made a quilt inspired by the last bqf!! :) I don’t have a stash right now :( but I have fabric to make three quilts for Christmas. After I get through these I want to focus on Reagan’s quilt for her bed. It will be my first “full size” quilt so I’m a little intimidated to do free motion. But I will do it! :D Thanks for all the work you do!!
p.s…I tried to copy and paste the code and it pasted the button IN a code box so I just copy and pasted your jpg. Hope that’s ok.
I love seeing these with the thumbnail images – great idea! I can’t wait to visit these blog posts – I love Blogger’s Quilt Festival! Thank you so much for organizing!
Not sure how many yards I have, but my stash is tiny! Just three small plastic bins.
Thanks for hothe festival again.
I didn’t read the instructions before I commented earlier. I don’t have yards of fabric in my stash. I just have bags of scraps! I enjoy scrap quilts and paper piecing small quilts. I have one storage tub of gallon zipper bags of scraps divided by color. When I make larger quilts I buy just the fabric needed for that project.
I’ve had a chance to look at some of the blogs in the festival. This is great fun!
Thanks for hosting this again.
This is my first quilt festival – love it!
My stash is VERY small…maybe 10 yards! And I have plans for all of it!
New post presenting my entry for the festival: done
Link to your blog in my post: done
Link to my post added to your blog: done
Pictures added to the Group pool on Flickr: done
Visiting all the lovely entries: to be done!
Thanks Amy for organising yet another succesfull Festival, judging by the number of entries on the first day. And thanks to all the sponsors for their generous giveaways!
I honestly don’t have a clue how many yards of fabric I have in my stash and that’s probably better because it would be a scary number!
Celine
so much fun looking at all the beautiful quilts!!!! thank you!
karen
Thanks Amy for doing the quilt festivals! I really look forward to them! I wish you hadn’t made me consider how many yard of fabric I have. It makes me nervous… I’m more of an ignore the situation type of fabric hoarder.
I love looking through all the beautiful quilts….thank you! thank you! about me….hum??? I have been quilting for 15+ years…can’t get enough of it!! How lucky am i??
I really enjoyed the last Quilt Festival and met a lot of new people. Thank you for taking so much time to put this together for us :)
What a neat idea. I love this Quilt Festival and hope to check out each site. Thanks for your work.
This is my first Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I have enough fabric in my stash to keep me out of trouble of a while : )
thanks so much for putting this together again. I love it! and soo great to have a picture of each quilt on the link. sooo much easier to browse, and get inspired. thank you thank you thank you.
I just started quilting, but I’m embarassed to say that I probably have 100 yards of fabric… I’m a little obsessive about things & I can’t turn away beautiful fabric…the problem is that I can’t seem to cut into it either :D
This is such a wonderful way to share our quilts and enjoy seeing what others are making. I love the inspiration and beauty of so many quilts at one place. Thank you so much.
This is my first year as part of the Blogger’s Quilt Festival, I’m very excited to find some time to sit back and read many of the other posts submitted.
As for my fabric stash size, gosh. All of my FQs are in a 3 drawn plastic rolling cabinet. The pieces which are bigger then a FQ up to several yards are in a 4 drawer filing cabinet. My scraps are in a small bin; which seriously needs some upgrading.
Thanks for starting this.
Thanks for putting this all together (again) love the picture links those are really great.
As for my fabric stash I don’t have enough and that’s all I’m going to say.
Thank you Amy, for hosting this wonderful “Quilt Show” that we can enjoy from our own homes. You have done a wonderful job. And thanks too for all the sponsors in making it possible.
Thanks for your incredible patience, drive and determination in putting this together, Amy. It’s always so fun! My stash, I thought was wayyyyy too much, but now I’m realizing I hardly have enough for even one quilt. I have lots of fq’s, but nothing to really get anything going I’d say I have about 20 yards of fabric…. and then there’s the vintage sheets I collected, but do they count? ;-)
I’ve entered one of my quilts. It’s my first time joining in on the fun, I was a spectator last round. This is a blast thank you!
I don’t count the yards, I just see what ?I have and use it to create, hehehe.
Thanks for hosting this great festival.
xoxo
Tania
Oops!! I just added this comment to the wrong post. My bad!
My stash just keeps on growing and growing. Like the giant plant in Little Shop of Horrors — “feed me Seymour!”. What can I say, I have Halloween on my mind.
I just keep on feeding it and well I desperately need to get my fantasy quilts out of my head and into quilts.

I LOVE the new linking with the little pictures. Thanks for hosting again!
Thx for hosting this fun event. I’m so excited to take part for the first time. Everyone’s work looks AMAZING!
I was SO excited to log on this morning and start enjoying some quilty goodness. Thanks for hosting this awesome party, Amy. I love the new linky with the thumbnails!
Thanks Amy! I can’t wait to look at all the quilts!
I have no idea how many yards of fabric I have in my stash. Plenty! But, really, my stash is not that big compared to some!
Thanks for organizing another great quilt festival, Amy!
I love seeing thumbnails of the entries – very inspiring and delicious eye candy.
Hmmm… how many yards in my stash? Honestly, I don’t have a clue! I do know that there’s enough to fill several rubbermaid tubs. ;o)
Thanks for putting this together. I’m ready to start looking at all the quilts. This is my first time participating, and so it’s all very exciting.
Thank you for organizing again, Amy. The new linky is fab! I love it for being able to find to favorites again later.
Hi Amy,
I added my blog post and quilt to the Festival lineup. Thank you for all the work you do to put the Festival together. It is fun to see the other quilts and read about them.
Thank you for doing it again, Amy! The Festival is always so much fun! :-)
Thanks Amy! I am new to blogging…so hope I completed the task at hand correctly! Thanks for the opportunity to share and to be inspired!
My stash?? I have six plastic bins full of fabric, plus a bookcase full of fabric. No idea of how many yards. BUT, that doesn’t keep me out of the quilt stores buying more!
thanks Amy! i posted about my latest project, finished about an hour ago..
as for my stash, I’d say I’ve probably got close to 500 yards, but who’s counting?
This is a really cool idea to have an online quilt festival. I love looking at all the quilts. You said something about the yards of fabrics in our stash….I’m sure I don’t have as much as some, but KNOW I have more than others. But even if you have a LOT, you can always use more! I remember one speaker at our Guild said that it was our obligation to buy fabric as quilters. I love that, and so I try to follow it religiously every chance I get!
I’ve written my post and put it up! I originally had a giveaway offering in my post but took it out as soon as I noticed your stipulation not to. Let’s see….I think I have probably about 200-300 yards of fabric in my stash! I’m not really sure, and precuts are very hard to count! I probably have about 150 yards in FQs alone!
This is my first time joining, but I’ve had so much fun looking at everyone’s fantastic quilts! I made my quilt, for a special little girl who was born with Downs Syndrome. There are so many talented quilters, that lead to much inspiration, but so little time.I’ve already started dreaming of what to make next – maybe something for me to curl up with this winter.
Thank you for organizing this Quilt festival again!
This is so much fun. Thanks for doing this Amy. I love the creative inspiration that comes from sharing. Don’t tell my husband but I have thousands of dollars worth of fabric on hand I think. He has no idea. I have about 30 “quilts” sitting ready to make. I just can’t produce as fast as my stash acquisition. It’s so much fun, and so addictive!
This is great fun! Thanks for hosting this again, Amy! I have no idea how much fabric I have because it has accumulated a little at a time over the years.
I’m so excited to enter the festival for the first time! Can’t wait to check out what others have been working on!
http://madebymeaghan.blogspot.com/2010/10/bloggers-quilt-festival.html
Thank you for doing this. I enjoyed reading what others had to share. As far as my stash….I will never tell. :)
I have so many yards of fabric just waiting for me to have more time to quilt. It makes me hate my day job. :) I would say that I have at least 15 quilts and all the fabric waiting for me, most of which are queen sized quilts. YIKES.
I have just passed a morning lost in the beautiful quilts you have featured. The inspiration is amazing and I just want to ignore everything else I need to do today so I can go and play with my fabric. thank you
I’m excited to be a part of the festival and can’t wait to spend my evening checking out everyones site. As for how many yards I have in my stash… approx 200. yikes!!!
What a wonderful idea for quilters to be inspired.
Hmmm. how many yards in my stash? Quite a bit! I don’t think I want to know & I’ll never be one of those bloggers that says how many yards in/out each week since my MIL reads my blog!
Oh thank you so much, Amy for doing this.. I am looking forward to visiting the blogs and get inspired to make more projects. I have posted my favourite quilt project and must admit I would not be able to give you a true figure as to how much fabric I have in my stash. I like to work with pre-cuts so I have a lot of layer cakes, jelly rolls and charm packs. Along with that I have the yardage to match which here in Canada is measured by the meter rather than the yard. Ok .. I’m ready for some serious sight seeing!
Merci!
Hi Amy! Thanks for yet another round of this fabulous event, and I’m so excited to be participating this time!
Oh goodness, you want to know how many yards there are in my stash? I’d be fearful to count them up . . . it might be scary :-)
I have no idea how many yards of fabric my stash has, and honestly it’s kinda a scary thought to add it up! I do have about 12 WIPs, which is way too many! It’s hard to keep up with the all but they are fun to pick up sometimes and try and figure out what the heck I was thinking! ;)
Thank you so much for the Bloggers Quilt Festival. This is the first time entering and viewing quilts. This is so fun and the stories are great to read and the quilts are so beautiful. I will be some time going through and seeing quilts and reading stories. Thank you again. Love Lois
As you know I’m a knitter and crocheter and I have no quilt to share.
But I feel so inspired to go cut something up.
I gotta get me a simple book on the subject
I plead the 5th on declaring how much is in my stash! : ) I am guessing well over 100 yards but I am actually afraid to count it! Thanks or hosting again Amy! I am looking forward to browsing through all the quilts in the coming days! I love the linky pictures too!
I don’t know how much fabric I have. I know I have enough to fill 4 (58 qt) tubs! Some of it goes back 10 years! I love the quilt show.
Wow! Look at all those amazing quilts! I could just stare at them for hours, so beautiful.
LOVE the new photo links, changes everything–nice work! Can’t wait to sit and read about all of the lovely projects:) Thanks for hosting!!
Sorry for double commenting–forgot to enter my info..oops!
LOVE the new photo links, changes everything–nice work! Can’t wait to sit and read about all of the lovely projects:) Thanks for hosting!!
WoW isn’t it easy to join this blog roll. thanks Amy
Wow what great sponsors you have! I’m a little embarrassed to tell you about my stash–I’m guessing I have around 500 yards. Thanks for hosting again!
Just found your blog and have entered the first quilt I made (just this year). I honestly couldn’t say how much fabric I have. I have a few yards of heavy duty cotton and the rest is scrap pieces and several items of old clothing which I intend to repurpose. I have a lap quilt in progress now which is being repurposed from a rather brightly coloured skirt of my daughters.
Oh boy! I really cant wait to start clicking on all the links and seeing all the quilty goodness that’s out there.
Wow Amy! Another successful Bloggers Quilt Festival! Hmm, not so sure I can calculate the yardage in my stash, can we just accept ‘excessive’ as a quantity. Outgrown it’s storage (room) and overflowing would be a good description at least! LOL I’m sure I’m not alone!
This is my first time in the festival and I’m so excited! Making a rough estimate, I would have to say there are about 90 yards of fabric in my stash. But I’ve only been at it a couple of years;)
OMG! I figured it out! Very new to all of this, but so happy to be playing along. Thank you Amy for organizing. I’m sure it it a ton of work. Oh . . . you wanted a fun fact didn’t you. Well, I have been quilting on and off since I was 14. Don’t ask. I think I have about 200 yards of fabric, that’s not alot right???? And I believe I have made over 100 quilts so far. I mostly give them to friends.
wOw! I can’t believe all the beautiful quilts that have already been entered! This is going to be a great show :) Bravo, Amy!
You also have some wonderful sponsors and prizes! Yippee! So much fun :)

I have added my quilt to linky and blogged about the festival here (http://lazylabquiltcompany.blogspot.com/)! Thank you for the opportunity!
I’m afraid to look at my scraps to see how much I have! I guess in the neighborhood of 6-7 yards???
Thank you,
Melanie
Thanks Amy for all your hard work!! It’s great to have all these lovely quilts gathered on ‘one stop shopping’..lol….I have posted my entry this afternoon and as for how much yardage I think I might have….???…LOL….I have always thought of it in dollar signs rather than how much yardage….but I will give a guess of AT LEAST 500 YARDS…eeeeee gads…did I really say that out loud!!!!
Thanks for doing this Amy. I love the virtual shows, you get to see so many different styles, the inspiration is amazing.
Count me in again! What a wonderful time of year!!
Thanks Amy for all your hard work!! It’s great to have all these lovely quilts all in one place to see and be inspired by …I have no idea how much fabric is in my stash…I’m too scared to count it all up…I’ll just say “LOTS” it overwhelms me at times!
This is my first entry to the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. Thank you for doing this. I guess I probably have about 100 yards of fabric – a lot of it that I dyed myself.
Thanks for hosting again Amy – so much fun! As for how many yards in my stash? Too many to count! But that’s a good thing, right???
First time I’ve entered! I have about maybe 50 yards in my stash in what seems like 5000 pieces. (I save everything)
I live in Sri Lanka and just looking at the links is gorgeous enough. What a lot of talented people. Beautiful stuff here.
I am linky’d in to the festival and am enjoying the show myself. Thanks for hosting this great event. Judy D. in AZ http://jdqltr.blogspot.com.
I’m having so much fun looking at all the quilts. It’s almost enough to make me want to start a blog. I plan to look at every entry-hope I make it! Thanks for doing this each market.
I just finished blogging and linking. I always end up with so many more blogs on my reader after this festival, it’s great. Thank you.
I am very excited to be part of your Blogger Quilt Festival. This is my second time to participate. Regarding the yardage in my stash — I can only say it is a lot — no clue — and no way to figure out how to start counting. I do keep track of how much I buy and how much I use every year, with a goal of using at least 100 yards more than I buy every year.
thank you Amy! so many beautiful quilts. :)
wow!!!! What a fabulous show of quilts!!! I added one to the flicker group. I don’t have a blog so wasnt sure how to do it here. This is awesome!!
the quilt I blogged for the festival was my 12th quilt. I started it exactly 12 months after I started quilting, and it comprised fabrics that I had used in the previous 11 quilts.
The thumbnails are awesome! It’s like a mini-quilt show right on your blog.
How much fabric do I have? No clue!
I’m afraid to count just how many yard of fabric I have in my sewing room; but it’s a lot!
The photo listing of the quilt entries is wonderful; it’s nice to be able to see a little before actually beginning your tour.
Amy:
this is such a great idea, and likely a whole lot of work to pull it together! Thanks for the opportunity! My stash – small. It needs to grow. I need to go to all these great fabric stores and designers on line and build me a good, modern fabric stash. Goodbye calico and traditional patterns! Hello modern colours and gorgeous prints! I’m looking forward to going through all the quilts.
Thanks again, Liz
What a fabulous festival. I will spend hours surfing through the quilts, and then through blogs finding inspiration and links to new and interesting people and sites. Thanks so much for hosting this – a great idea. The best quilt show I’ve been to this year!!
This is my first entry for Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I am so excited to be able to meet so many quilters in one place. I am going to be busy visiting all these blogs.
As far as my stash…..I have no idea. But I am sure it’s over 500 yards, as I am addicted to fabric and always buy way more than I need and I buy it faster than I can use it…
I added my link and I look forward to meeting alot of new friends.
Marianne
This is so fun! I’ve never entered a contest like this before. I began my quilt in the mid-90’s and finished it this past Monday. : D So I’m slow. And it’s definitely a learning quilt, but I love it anyway.
~ Ronda
This is awesome! I’m going to set aside some time this weekend to browse all the other contributions. So far, they look beautiful!!!
Thanks again Amy for organizing this event…i just brewed some tea, and plan to spent the next hour(s) looking through some quilts! as for yardage in my stash? i would be scared to know that answer! NOT even going there!
I love seeing all of the beautiful quilts! I have only been quilting a few years, but I guess I have about 100 yards of fabric. I also cross stitch and needlepoint, so I have to spread out my crafting stash money!!! Thanks for the great giveaways!!
I am excited. Will have the photo on the site tomorrow
Thanks for hosting and for allowing relatively new quilters/bloggers to share work. I really appreciate it.
As to how much fabric is in my stash…hmm…I once estimated that, if I could buy no fabric at all, I had about two years at present rate of use. I don’t know how many yards that translates to, but I would call it a safe margin against disaster. :)
Happy to be participating here for the first time!
Yards of fabric in my stash? Hmmm… a rough guess is about 25-30? I’ve only been quilting since July though!
I can’t wait to see everyones quilts! Thank you for all the hard work you put into this Amy!
I can wait to view all of the quilts! Thank you Amy for all of the hard work you put in to this round!
This may be a duplicate…apologies if it is! This is my first time participating in a blog event – what fun! It’s great to look at all the fabulous entries! Thanks, Amy, for all the work that you have put into this! My stash is no where near large enough. Guess I need to go on a fabric binge. Darn.
Thanks for this opportunity. I have never shared in an online quilt show before but have enjoyed seeing what others are doing. If fact that was why I joined the blogging quilt community. Sometimes it is sensory overload but I love it.
Hi Amy,
What a wonderful event! Thanks so much for doing the work to organize this festival. I’ve just started quilting and finished my first quilt for a friend’s baby. I’ve already moved onto a new quilt top – a summer picnic quilt using fabrics from my stash. As for how much is in the stash…oh enough to fill a large storage container or two…
Jess
Well I’ve done it Amy – I’ve posted in the Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I hope, hope, hope I’ve done it all right. The most challenging thing for me about blogging is figuring out how to use the computer…. I haven’t got the faintest idea how many yards of fabric are in my stash. I feel challenged by your question to spend a bit of time trying to figure that out. I have fabric all over the place. Thanks for hosting this festival. I am determined to look at as many posts as I can and to comment on them all. Great prizes too.
Amy – a big thank you to organizing the online blogger’s quilt festival!! I love looking at other people’s work to be inspired and learn of other great blogs:)
I don’t even want to guess about how many yards in my stash-OMG is all I can say. I really do need to get busy and finish all of my quilt tops. What can I say, I love to be inspired….but I need to finish things through to the end!!
Thanks to all of your sponsors as well and for the opportunity to win some great gifts!!
jodym7@yahoo.com
Thanks so much for the fun Amy! I have no idea how many yards of fabric I have stashed~ and ya know, I don’t think I want to know! LOL Happy weekend!
There are so many quilts linked in now that my page won’t display them! Instead, I’ve been looking at the quilts and stories posted on the various linked in blogs.
One of the very first quilting blogs that I began reading was yours — back when was park city girl – there have been several makeovers since then. You spend so much time organizing this bloggers quilt festival, and this non-blogger enjoys it very much. Thanks, Marcia W
Hi Amy!
Thanks again for having us all for the Festival! So nice to see all these other quilts and to be part of this HUGE event! So much fun!
WOWZA! Quilts Quilts and Quilts! I think I’m even going to be brave enough to link in my first ever non-baby quilt! So great! As a new quilter… my stash keeps growing. I for sure have “eyes bigger than my stomach” but I feel like it’s leveling out, I look at the fabric and feel like the projects are just ready to leap out of the piles. I’ve slowed down buying and started more sewing!
Thanks for hosting this awesome event.
Your online quilt show just gets bigger and bigger every time you put it on! Thanks again for organizing the show. I washed all of the fabric in my stash this summer and estimate that I have about 100+ yards of fabric in my quilting stash. I have been using up a lot this year as I have had some extra sewing time lately and I have not been buying much fabric lately.

Whew – took the plunge and entered in the Festival. I’ve somehow bungled my link and my entry doesn’t display in the gallery (trying to contact Amy to see if I can fix it). What a great show!!! Thanks Amy for hosting – looking forward to sitting down and enjoying all the beautiful creations. Blessings, Peg
Amy, Thanks for the opportunity to share my new-found love of quilting! I don’t have much of a stash yet, but I did buy a whole bunch of David Walker’s robot collection before I had a project in mind… Thanks again for providing this venue for us!
Amy, this is such a wonderful idea. Thank you for sponsoring this! Not only do I get to see tons of wonderful quilts and hear their stories, but I got to relive my own humble beginnings in my submission. I’m going to go cuddle up in my quilt right now! :)
I am so glad you do this!! I was almost not going to post something, but decided at the last minute why not!
I have really enjoyed looking at everyone’s projects and seeing more than just the quilt!!
Amy, thank you for continuting to put the blogger’s quilt festival together!
My stash is getting very scary, I need to used what I have instead of buying more and more. If I had to guess I have about 20 yards, but it may be more.
Thank you again !!!!!!
Kristin @ Write it Down
LOve the new linky thing where you can thumbnail the quilts! Very nice! Thanks for hosting the awesome festival. Ummm stash yardage? Maybe 20 yards? Not much of of a fabric hoarder…keeps me up on my projects and forces me to actually use what I have. Thanks!!
I can’t wait to make my way through all the links! Thanks, Amy!
Oh my goodness, what deep dark secrets can I reveal – well, I know that I have more fabric in my stash than I will ever use in my life time. Some of it I bought years ago and my liking for it is so strong that I just can’t cut into it, instead it hides away in a cupboard protected by other pieces. There is no way I could even guess at how much fabric I have in total and to even try to count it would be worse than standing up and say ” Hi my name is Miche’le and I am a fabricoholic”.
thank you for the oppportunity of entering my little quilt in your festival.
hugs
Miche’le
Hi Amy, Thanks for the opportunity to show my quilt. My stash… well lets just say if I laid it out I think I could be at your door. (I live in Melbourne Australia) Ssssh.
It’s so hard to say how many hundreds I may have of fabric in my stash. It’s hard to go to the store and just look. It doesn’t happen. I’m really liking right now the panels of vintage looking children. I’m not sure how to use them though.
this is wonderful, great prizes, and awesome to see so many inspiring quilts! thanks. as for yards- i wish it was more, but probably only about 10 : ( at the most- hoping to increase my sad stash with these great giveaways!!
Hi Amy!! Thanks for hosting another awesome festival! I love the linky with the photos of the quilts!!
As far as how many yards of stash….I really don’t have much of a stash. When I buy fabrics, it’s usually with a quilt in mind. I don’t buy too much “just because”. I do have some precuts though, and those are nearly 3 yards each…so I’d have to guess…maybe…20 yards?! Rough guess….LOL!
Thanks again!
Karrie
This is so inspiring!
I’m so glad I found this festival! It’s my first year entering. So far, I am inspired and awed by all the quilts! <3
And the fabric stash…I feel so bad! I have fabric for all my quilts for Christmas I've yet to make (uh oh)…so I have…I'd guess about 40 yards in total :O
Now I must hide in my sewing area and sew away. Thinking about all that fabric makes me want to sew sew sew!
Wow! What a great bunch of quilts in here already! I am so happy to be in here with everyone else, and am looking forward to a lot of browsing this coming week! Thank you Amy!
Amy, wonderful job again as usual :) The prizes sound terrific and all the thumbnails of quilts very enticing. Of course I have entered again.
Umm, stash yardage is probably about 60-70 yards, I’d say? It’s hard to count up all those fat quarters, LOL!
Hello Amy, thank you for hosting the Bloggers Quilt Festival..looking forward to viewing the quilts..Warm Regards, Lyn
How many yards in my stash?!! That’s as embarassing as asking my weight!!! Both are over 100 – LOL!!! BEAUTIFUL quilts – GREAT giveaways – THANKS!
This is my third time being a part of your Bloggers Quilt Festival.
Thanks so much for all of your time and effort in making this possible so that we can have this amazing virtual quilt show.
Wishing you continued success in all you do.

WOW how INSPIRING looking at everybody’s work!! Thank you for organising such an awesome event. It never ceases to amaze me what takes place in the “virtual” quilting world!! I have no idea how many yards in my stash – I haven’t been stashing very long and mostly have 1/2 yards or fat quarters of ones i like. But in saying that it is growing rapidly. Ahhh fabric goodness :)
how many yards do i have in my stash??? I have no clue! Maybe 100 give or take. It’d be interesting to know. Maybe when I clean out my built-in, I’ll figure it out. Now I’m curious! Thanks for organizing this! It’s always fun to see all the beautiful work out there!
This is my first time in the festival! This is fun! I will keep checking back all week.
I would guess my stash is probably between 75-100 yards. Yikes! Time to get quilting!
I finally got some time to link up,thanks for doing this..I always discover some cool new blogs to read!
Thanks for doing this, I always find some new to me, hip fun blogs to read!
Yay! This is my first time participating in the festival. Thank you! I shared a quilt I made for cousin to take with her to college.
I am going to estimate that I have 250 yards of fabric, including fat quarters, charm packs, layer cakes, and vintage sheets/linens. I’ve amassed quite a collection. Hi, my name is Tina and I’m addicted to fabric. =)
Hi Amy…..thanks for doing this and I missed out last year but have entered this year. Wow….some awesome quilts have been entered. I have no idea how many yards I have in my stash….I reckon it would be way over 1,000 and growing…in fact I bought 5 more yards today. I love fabric and I love seeing it done up into the quilts too. Thanks again.
wow, that is a lot of photos! I am hoping for a nice weather day tomorrow so , I can get a better photo! i found out today in designing my post that my photos is blurry!
Maybe Santa and hubby will get together and get my a new camera this year. A girl can dream
Amy, thanks again for hosting this wonderful quilt festival. I’ve already found tons of inspiration looking through the quilts posted by other bloggers. My creative wish-to-do list is growing. An amazing amount of talent out there!
Great to see all the quilts and their stories that are up already. How many yards of fabric in my stash … maybe 50!
Amy, I have to tell you the timing couldn’t be better — this is a welcome respite from the endless campaign sniping and bickering that we are bombarded with on TV leading up to this election on Tuesday. So much more fun to look at quilt blogs and turn on the stereo. It made for a relaxing Friday evening. Thanks.
Amy a wonderful idea and an amazing way to share with quilters worlg wide. I love everyone’s stories.
The thumbnails are great!! Will help me keep track of who I’ve visited.
Thanks Terry
Amy thanks for implementing your wonderful idea. You have enabled quilters world wide to share. Something we like to do.
The thumbnails are great for visual learners like me LOL I might not loose my place.
The bast non-juried show. Thanks Terry
Amy thanks for implementing your wonderful idea. A great way to enable quilters world wide to share.
The thumbnails are great I might remember where I’ve visited
Thanks Terry
Thanks for hosting Amy. This is such a great idea. I cant wait to get round as see everyone’s creative masterpieces!
hello Amy~ I am back again, thanks for hosting this again. as for how many yards of fabric are in my stash, not a whole heck of a lot. I would say about 10 yards (probably less) I can only afford to buy as needed and not any extra. Thanks!!!
Thanks for hosting this Amy , i love to see everyones quilts and draw inspiration!
So excited for BQF to be back again! I just love all of the creativity and buzz over quilts!
I cannot even begin to fathom how many yards of fabric I have in my stash…over 100 for sure. YIKES!
Thanks for hosting us all again.
HI Amy,
just want to say that this year’s festival is spectacular! Having thumbnails of each entry is perfect!
thanks for organizing this again!
Hi Amy – Thank you for hosting another Blogger’s Quilt Festival. This is so much fun! How many yards of fabric do I have in my stash? Oh my! I’m sure it is more than 100 yards *blushing*
Thanks for the fabulous festival. The answer to the question if you ask my husband – too much fabric, if you ask me – not enough fabric!
I have WAY too many yards to count. I can tell you that I have a full kitchen sized trash bag (like 13 gallons or something) of scraps from just the last month. I’ve been sewing a lot of things for Fabri-Quilt’s Quilt Market booths, so I have a ton of fabric left over from that stuff.
That doesn’t even count all the fabric that I’ve purchased. I have many boxes (that I haven’t unpacked from our recent move) to re-wash, iron, and put on my new mini-bolts. Ah! So much to do!
I’ve made a lot of things for Fabri-Quilt’s Quilt Market booths over the last month or so, so I’ve been sewing a ton lately. Just from this sewing, I’ve collected about 13 gallons of scraps. I have a kitchen sized trash bag filled with scraps and leftovers from all these projects.
I also have 4 really big boxes crammed with fabric to unpack from our recent move. My plan is to re-wash them, iron them, fold them, and wrap them around my mini fabric bolts. I’m making myself a mini quilt shop in my basement. I’m so excited!
What a fun quilt festival!! I can’t even begin to guess how many yards of fabric I have in my stash. Too many, that’s for sure. Thank you to Amy for organizing such a great event. I’m looking forward to visiting lots of great blogs over the next few days.
Wow, what a great quilt festival!! Thanks to Amy for organizing such an awesome event! I can’t even begin to guess how many yards of fabric I have in my stash, too many, that’s for sure. I’m looking forward to checking out all these great blogs!
thanks Amy for hosting another wonderful event –
I hope I can figure out Mr. Linky – having a bit of trouble.
What an inspiring group of quilts – I love the thumbnail phtos!
Thanks Amy to organising the Festival!I love it every season! How many yards in my stash?…too many!
nichi
I just want to say “thank you”! I love the part of the year where we can browse all these great quilts. Interesting? I bet my quilt post is the only one that tells the story of a “not so innocent bird!” tee hee
I have been sewing for almost two years and have created nine quilts!
I have clicked this into My Favorites. Did just a fast scroll through them. Have to go out of town to a quilt shop and get some more fabric for a workshop Monday night. When back will sit down and look at all the gorgeous quilts one by one. This is the kind of candy I like the best all year around.
I am so happy the quilt festival is here!! I just started quilting about a year ago, so I don’t have that big of a stash yet. But I have learned to be a scrap hoarder. I am hoping to start my first scrap quilt maybe after all of my WIPS and Christmas gifts. Thanks for putting this on Amy!
Thank you Amy for hosting this awesome festival!!
Love this whole idea Amy!!! Thanks for putting it together and letting us all be a part of it. As for how many yards I have in my stash well that would cause me to go into lala land if I even knew that number. However, I do know the number of yards that I have of my favorite fabric line ‘Make Life’ and that is around 70 yards which is made up of yardage and precuts. I know, I know nuts right. We I do have projects planned for it!
Thanks again!!!
Thanks so much, Amy! This was fun and a chance to show my readers something new (actually old) about myself. It is so generous of you to do this for those who can’t attend at Houston…
Ok Amy, I am in day 2 of this and so far, I haven’t done much sewing. I can’t seem to get myself away from the computer, with so much eye candy to look at. Guess there is a down side to this after all!!! :-) Thanks for opening our eyes to the big quilt world we have in cyberspace once more.
this has been so much fun so far! i’ve really enjoyed checking out the amazing work of so many quilters – thanks for organizing this event! i’ll be sure to join up again next year :)
the amount of fabric i have in my stash isn’t entertaining, i don’t think anyway, b/c i have no idea how much i’ve got. let’s just say i haven’t met a vintage or retro-like fabric that i haven’t liked ;)
hoping this isn’t a double post – it appears as though my previous comment didn’t post?
fabric in my stash…unknown. just know that i haven’t met a vintage or repro fabric i didn’t like ;)
Wonderful festival. Don’t have a blog yet, but I do have over 15 bins of fabric. No way to count how many yards.
quilt festival time!!! fun. fun.
Thank you so much, Amy! I can’t wait to look at all the quilts :)
Love the way you did the links this year, what a great idea! Thanks for all your hard work Amy.
How many yards of fabric? I wouldn’t have a clue, but my best guess would be at least a couple of hundred.
Yards in my stash? Have absolutely no idea, it’s not an overwhelming amount but it sure is enough for me shop from when sewing. I’ll guess that my stash is around 200 yards – it sounds like a lot, but looking at some my yardage pieces which are about 3 yards it sure adds up quickly.
Thanks for organsing the Blogger’s Quilt Festival – I’m having a wonderful time looking at everyones quilts.
I have so much fun visiting blogs. It is so inspirational and then I can get at using up some of my stash. There are hundreds of yards folded away in the closet. But the new fabrics keep calling me and I buy more. Sure need to do a stash bust.
The thumbnails are a great idea! Love looking at all the beautiful entries! How much is in my stash? Too much to count … is there a quilter’s anonymous, similar to AA? If so, I think I need to join! Thanks for hosting Bloggers Quilt Festival!
Hey Amy, Happy quilting to you. I love the festival. I am going to eat some lunch sit back and borrows the quilts.
I%20have%20so%20much%20fun%20visiting%20blogs.%20%20It%20is%20so%20inspirational%20and%20then%20I%20can%20get%20at%20using%20up%20some%20of%20my%20stash.%20There%20are%20hundreds%20of%20yards%20folded%20away%20in%20the%20closet.%20But%20the%20new%20fabrics%20keep%20calling%20me%20and%20I%20buy%20more.%20Sure%20need%20to%20do%20a%20stash%20bust.
My closet is full of folded fabric, hundreds of yards, enough for a lifetime, but I love all the new fabrics so I get more. Sure need to do a stash bust. Maybe I should have a quilting party. My mom was visiting and we went into the closet and picked out fabric and made a quilt. No need to go to a fabric store. I should invite people to a come raid my closet and they could make a quilt.
It is so inspiring to visit the blogs.
Thanks for hosting this festival Amy. I am going to sit down later in the day with a glass of wine and browse…
Hi, Amy! Wow! This is huge! So many beautiful quilts from all over the world! I look forward to watch them all. I am no longer jealous at all the quilters visiting Houston these days. Thank you for doing this!
This is my entry for Amy’s Creative Side “Bloggers’ Quilt Festival. All the entries are Awesome! Very creative people out there!
Thank you so much for putting this on again! How many yards in my stash? My best guess would be over 150… but don’t tell my husband LOL!
Jennifer :)
That’s a hard question – I have no idea how many yards of fabric I actually have. It keeps growing these days! I would estimate about 50? I tend to buy in 1/2 yard increments (unless I find a good sale), so judging by how many fabrics I have, I think that may be close. But, even with all that fabric, I always seem to need to run out and buy some additional fabrics for different projects. How can that be???
Thanks for organizing and hosting the festival!!!
I have so much fabric I don’t know if I could even put a number on it! If I had to guess, I’d probably say something around 300 yards?!
….yeah….I didn’t fully realize how sick I was with “fabric fever” until just now!!!
What wonderful quilts! I love sharing mine, and I can’t wait to check out all the others! Yards of fabric in my stash? No clue. I don’t have a huge stash compared to some… maybe 30 yards?
Amy I just love this Quilt Festival. I really love the new linky with the pictures, that is truly awesome! I am not sure I would want to know how much fabric I have in my stash, I already feel guilty when I buy more. :o Lets just say I have plenty. LOL Thanks again for a wonderful Quilt Festival.
It’s such a pleasure to enter. Thanks for creating this lovely tradition!
Amy, Thanks for hosting this wonderful quilt festival. It has been so much fun seeing all the quilts and the wonderful stories.
I can’t even venture to guess how much stash I have. How about I just confess that I have just over 10 yards that is flying it’s way to me to join the stash family.
Amy – Thanks for hosting the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. It has been so much fun visiting all the blogs and reading the quilt stories.
I can’t even begin to guess how much stash I have. I will confess that there are 10 more yards winging their way home to join all the rest of the stash family.
HI Amy,
You have created another lovely festival. I particularly like the thumbnail photos of the quilts – It is a beautiful sea of color. I hope to get to visit the many quilts but it is going to take me awhile to get through them.
I have so much fabric I am too scared to count yardage- I have around 25 boxes full of fabrics- it is sorted and organized enough that I can find what I am looking for usually. It would take more than one very long life time for me to use it…. I do love fabric.
Thanks for hosting the festival-
Warmest regards,
Anna
Thank you so much for hosting this again! I’m a first-time participant, although I’ve always loved looking at everyone else’s beautiful quilts. It’s fun to find new favorites!
As far as how much fabric I have in my stash– I went and did a rough estimate just now, and I think it’s over 400yards! I had no idea. Don’t tell my husband!
Amy, where is the list of quilts ? – while the pictures are cool they do not change color like the list does after I have read a quilt entry….. that is how I keep track of what is read and what is not, it takes weeks for me to go one by one through the list….. what gives?
Thanks so much for hosting this again Amy! Just posted my Quilt Festival Quilt blog post–and now off to check out some of the other lovely quilts! =)
This is such a feast for the eye and the soul – I love looking at all these beautiful quilts and reading the stories behind them. It is wonderful to be a part of this great event – thanks Amy!
I don’t have a blog, so I am just a very appreciative viewer. What a fabulous list of quilts and blogs. I have already found several new blogs to add to my daily blogrole.
I really like the thumbnails this time vs. link list of festivals past… much easier to keep track of where I am. Day 2 of viewing and still only about 25% of the way through the list. LOVING it all. Thanks to Amy and everyone who is participating!
Grazie per l’opportunità di conoscere tante amiche”

When you click on my thumbnail photo as well as a few others it will not direct viewer to my blogspot. It has driven me crazy trying to figure it out but I think what has happened is the address prints http:// twice and that makes computer read it wrong and is unable to redirect to blogsite. When you click on my thumbnail it shows http://http:// grannysblooms9.blogspot.com/ and it will come up as error. I noticed maybe a dozen or so that this is happening with.
I have really enjoyed your doing this and all the quilts. I feel sorry that I have missed comments as I enjoy leaving compliment and encouragement on others sites. This is a very large undertaking and I am not complaining and I don’t know why it does this as two were able to view site but not today. Thank you again. Love Lois
What beautiful quilts and what a great idea! Thanks for your hard work!
Hi Amy
Thank you so much for hosting the quilt festival again. I really enjoy looking at everyone’s quilts and reading the stories behind them.
I have a huge stash but have disguised it by cutting 3/4 of a ton of it into strips of varying sizes. Since I no longer have THAT fabric in my stash, I can now say it is a wee bit smaller. And it doesn’t help that I have a quilt shop out my back door and am a serious fabriholic! And, I own the shop, lol!
Thanks again Amy, this is so much fun!
I’m a little embarrassed to admit the size of my stash…it might be close to 200 yards. Yikes!! But I love every square inch of them!!
Thank you for hosting the fabulous BQF!
It took me a few days, but I got my link added! Wow, there are endless hours of surfing here, I am so excited. I just have to say, that I am so excited about The Sewing Summit, and the fact that after living 10 years away from home, I will be moving back just in time to attend :) I can’t wait to meet you and so many other amazing quilters!!
I started doing some rough math on how many yards of fabric I might have…and then I had to stop. My husband walked in. I’m sure you all would understand!
Thanks for hosting this Amy. Every year I find new inspiration and even some awesome new blog friends!
Amy, you’ve stimulated so much sharing in the quiltmaking community with your inspired online Quilt Festival. Even though I’ve been quilting for more years than I can even believe, I still consider myself a relative novice. I’m so happy to be able to explore others’ creativity from the comfort of my home computer. Oh, and I probably have about 1,000 yards of fabric in my stash; I sure wish I could use it up more quickly.
I sure hope I win some fabric: my stuff is sort of old and tired!
Hugs,
Tina in San Diego
Thanks for hosting this Amy, i love checking out all of the beautiful quilts and drawing inspiration from them!
Wow! These quilts are all amazing – what a GREAT thing this online quilt festival is! I’m a relatively new blogger, so I made my entry despite being instantly humbled by these entries… this will be a difficult site to stay away from when I have to go back to work on Monday!
http://cindycraftycreations.blogspot.com/2010/10/amys-creative-side-bloggers-quilt.html
I hope i’m doing this correctly. lol This is my entry for the festival. I don’t know exactly how many yards of fabric I have stacked on a shelf but it must be close to a hundred….
Thanks for the wonderful online show again Amy!! There is so much great eye-candy and fun blogs to explore; it’s going to take awhile. I don’t even want to start to guess how many yards I have in my stash!!!!! Somewhere between 100 and a million I think lol!
I don’t know if I’m doing this correctly.
thanks so much for hosting / organizing / coordinating Amy … it’s always fun fun fun …..
thanks amy !
Thanks for hosting again. It’s always fun to see new quilts. I would have to say I probably have about 400 yards of fabric in my stash. Sshhhhh, don’t tell my husband.
I have joined the Blobgers Quilt Festival for the first time all the way from The South Coast of Australia. I am so looking forward to looking at all these beauiful quilts. I love a good quilt story so am very much reading all of them as well.
Blessings
Gail
Amy…thanks for hosting the Bloggers Quilt Festival… I have visited before but this is my first time to show a quilt. It’s a feast for the eyes, a virtual rainbow of quilts! I just need a few days to check them all out…well, we all got an extra hour this weekend, so you all know what I am going to be doing with the extra time!
Stash…What’s a stash…lol….??????
Best Wishes
Kay in Scotland
I don’t have a huge stash but it’s been growing recently which has been such a treat and lots of fun :) I generally like to get fabric and use it straight away , time permitting of course ;) If only i could retire from the day job! lol!
Thanks for hosting the festival once again, it’s so great discovering new favs as well as seeing familiar ‘faces’.
x
Hi Amy, thanks for hosting this wonderful festival. I’ve posted my quilt and linked to your festival. I will continue to have fun checking out all the quilts. Hugs Ariane
I am not sure if my comment b4 made it as my putey did something really strange, but I know I didnt answer your question about how many yards of fabric I have in my stash. If you take into account all my FQ’s and F8’s I am thinking at about 100 yards (I am an Aussie so it really would be about 100 metres), not too mention all the jelly rolls, layer cakes and charm packs i have waiting to be used.
Blessings
Gail
hi there. i am currently working on my first quilt, so I don’t have a photo to add yet. I found Cara’s wonderful First Quilt tutorial on her Obsessively Stitching blog. It’s been great fun! Please enter me in your giveaways. Would love to win something that will inspire my second quilt!
Thanks,
Kelly
Thank you so much for hosting this virtual quilt show! Thanks also to your sponsors. I’d be thrilled to win anything, even though I already have approximately – gulp! – 1700 yards of fabric in my stash. I try not to think about it. Actually, I’m trying fairly hard not to buy anything I don’t need for a specific project. It’s a challenge because there are so many wonderful fabrics coming out every month.
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful event! This is my first time participating and I can’t wait to go look at all the other quilts :)
Amy, Thanks for hosting this festival and giving us the opportunity to share the quilt we made for our Nana. Brenna (my daughter) and I spent some quality time snuggled on the couch tonight looking at quilts. So much fun!! I can hardly believe how many entries there are already!
As for my fabric stash – I have no idea. There is one large vacuum cleaner box packed full of mostly fabric awaiting our move. Plus I have two of those decorative, paper covered boxes full still here in the house. I try to practice restraint, but every once in a while I buy more. :) fabric and books. My weaknesses. :)
Yay, it’s the Quilt Festival again! I’ve got lots of yardage in my stash because I live near a fabric discount warehouse- too tempting! I don’t even want to think about how much… ;) bellgirlsblog [at] gmail [dot] com
This is my first bloggers quilt festival, and it is the coolest idea! I love seeing all the quilts, and I am so happy I am able to share one of my own. Thanks so much for hosting this!
Thanks so much for organizing this huge event again! I look forward to it and love to visit the blogs and read all the quilt stories. I don’t have a huge stash yet but I bet I have 10 to 15 yards by the time you put all the fat quarters together.
I thought you might like to know that I “found” your blog through your interview with Pat Sloan. I also wanted to thank you, since the Bloggers’ Quilt Festival helped me to think about what I have learned through earlier quilts. (By the way, I am now a grandmother – of twins!)
Thanks so much Amy for doing this!! Such lovely quilts and wonderful give aways. It was so easy to enter my quilt!! Take care!
Paulette

I love that you have the pictures instead of just the names and titles. It makes it easier to look at the quilts. Last time it took me a week to look at the quilts because I kept losing my place on the list. this way I will know where I left off. thanks I love this kind of stuff.
Thanks for putting the pictures up. I love it. I love the quilts this is awesome.
Thank you for hosting, again. I love the thumbnail/link this year.
Thank you for hosting the festival again. I hope I can find time to see all the quilts, but already it’s looking like an overwhelming task! I’ve tried to link my quilt up, but am having trouble (I feel like that one annoying person because I had trouble with the one thing challenge, too), but I’ll try again tomorrow when maybe my computer will be in a better mood!
As for my stash…I don’t really have any idea. Lots. Too much. But I don’t know many quilters who can’t say the same!
Thank you for hosting this Amy! I am having so much fun reading about everyone’s quilts!
Hmm…I would guess I have about 20-30 yards of fabrics in my stash! I can’t help it, I love fabrics!
Thanks again!
I posted a comment but not sure if it was published since I didn’t see it. This is my entry for the giveaway. Thank you for hosting all of this Amy! It’s so fun!!!
I just joined the festival! Thanks for doing this Amy!
I really couldn’t guess how much yardage is in my stash. Some of my fabric is from before quilting but just can’t get myself to get rid of it yet. I did get rid of just about everything that wasn’t cotton. Now I need to get rid of fabric that is outdated…maybe it could be considered vintage?
I just posted my favorite quilt for the festival! Thanks for doing this Amy!
I really couldn’t guess the yardage in my stash. Some of my fabric is from prequilting days that I just can’t seem to get rid of. I did however get rid of just about everything that wasn’t cotton. Now I need to destash outdated fabrics…maybe they can be considered vintage?
Thank you so much for hosting! It has been so much fun reading up on other peoples stories!
About my yardage…hmm, I would guess my quilting cottons to be well under 20 meters (or yards if you will…)I have a big stash of stuff that I don’t use anymore, mainly fleeces, which I will be giving away to a friend. I can’t wait to have some more space in my fabric cabinet!!
Love the Blogger Festival.
Came on board kind of later in the game, but I’m having a great time visiting all the blogs.
My stash has more yardage than I have time to count. That’s not to say I have a lot – just that I don’t have much time :P.
To add a little levity as you’re diligently reading all these comments:
You Know you are a Quilter If……..
There’s more Fabric in the House than Food
“Fat Quarters” are not the heaviest part of your body
Your ironing board is always set up but you never iron clothes
You think of your job as an interruption of your quilting time
You pet Fabric
People are always picking threads off you
You can measure a scant 1/4″ by eye
“Featherweight” Doesn’t mean Boxer
Your “UFO’s” are not from outer space
Thank you for hosting the Blogger’s Quilt Festival!
The quilt I entered is the 1st quilt I ever made. I so enjoy quilting and have at least 15+ current UFO’s. My stash is slowly but surely growing I have no idea how many yards may be in it but I’m sure my husband would tell you it’s too much! lol
While going out fabric shopping with my sister today to make dresses for her wedding he repeatedly told me, “We have NO $$ for fabric!” lol You’d think he thought I was addicted or something! “Hi, my name is Jennifer and I’m addicted to fabric” ;)
Just wanted to leave a different kind of comment for you to read. Have a wonderful day! =)
Wow what a great gallery of quilts, thanks for doing this to coincide with Houston Quilt Festival for all of us who aren’t there.
Hi Amy,
Thanks for organising such a wonderful festival. As for our stash, we won 100 fat quarters of Jinny Beyers beautiful fabrics as first prize for one of our group quilts. We’ve used some in our latest quilt but it hardly looks as though we’ve put a dent in the box.
Been looking so forward to the festival Amy! Just love seeing all the amazing quilts, so many talented artists! Thanks for a great showing everyone!
Hi Amy,
I am participating in this Festival, so glad that you are organising it again. Are you really sure that you want to know how many yards of fabric I have??? I have at least 150 yards not yed dyed fabric, guess the same amount of batiks and how many yards of dyed fabric?? Couple of hundred?? I have no clue, but I do know that it is a lot LOL
I literally stumbled into the quilting blogosphere this spring the week of the BQF. I’m so glad to be participating this go round! I don’t think I’m guessing too wildly when I say that I have about 800yds of fabric. It’s a bit insane actually. A friend of my mother’s, who I have never met, literally out of the blue gave me about 600 yards of fabric (HER ENTIRE STASH FROM QUILTING) because she was giving up quilting for knitting and wanted me to put it to good use in my charity quilting. I will be sewing forever!
Hello!
I’m very happy to participate in this festival I’m new at quilting and I feel very excited to share my first quilt that I finished a month ago. I didn’t know I could also enter a giveaway, so there you go, more fun! thanks a lot!
Hello!
I’m so happy to participate in this festival! Thanks so much for the chance to win wonderful giveaways too!
How many yards of stash do I have??? not many, I just started! Probably 10…or less… nothing compared to what I’ve seen lately in other blogs!!!LOL
Hi Amy, this is such a wonderful way of showing quilts….. and obviously enjoyed by the number of entries and comments…. what a big job you have taken on.
Stash you ask????? Mmm as a new quilter I think I am overestimating when I say I have 5 yards in my stash….. I’m a bit of a quilters joke amongst my friends….. but I know it will grow….
Thanks for some really lovely fun….
Hugz
Great event. I already saw so many beautiful quilts, maybe once I could make such a lovely one, now I am still a beginner!!!
Love to win one of the prices. Thanks for organizing this event.
II cannot find my comment????
Great event, thanks so much for organizing this.
I really have no idea of my stash….. !!!!!!!!!!
Great%20event%2C%20thanks%20so%20much%20for%20organizing%20this.%20

Thanks for hosting once again the Bloggers Quilt Festival. I’ve been looking at the quilts-they’re wonderful! and yes, I did add a quilt to the festival!
WOW! All of these quilts are amazing (and beautiful)!!! It is so much fun to visit all of the blogs and get to “know” new people and their work!
To answer your question re: “How many yards of fabric are in my stash?”……The answer is – I don’t want to know!! LOL. Because, if I knew – then I wouldn’t be able to “justify” buying/adding any more!! LOL.
A Blogger’s Quilt Festival, what a great idea. This caused me to learn how to update my brand-new blog with a linky and grabbing a button! So I travel along with this whole new world of blogging, spending more and more time enjoying them, but still getting some quilts made because of the sheer inspiration I find. But I’m not sure I want to face the question of how much fabric I have. Too scary, even for Halloween. Thanks for the show.
Wonderful! I’m all inspired now…just need more fabric of course! I’ve depleted my stash too much teaching my sweet daughter the gift of sewing!
I am late entering in my comment because of the INTERNATIONAL QUILT MARKET in Houston, which has been SO MUCH FUN!!! Will post about it soon, with pictures of creators and designers of my favorite fabrics. I started this quilting blog a year ago, after seeing your quilt festival then. I was so intrigued, and worked very hard for 6 months, learning all there is to know about blogger to be ready to enter a post last spring. Thank you Amy, and all your sponsors for bringing us together. What a wonderful place to share and learn from each other.
You want to know how much fabric I have in my stash??? Quite frankly, I don’t think I want to know, maybe close to 500 yards, and I’ve only been quilting 3 or 4 years! and gave away 2 big boxes last week. Definitely addicted!
OK, so I didn’t learn so well. I have a new Blog, where I learned to do the linky and the button grab because of this Blogger’s Quilt Festival. But when I tried doing this comment, it disappeared into … somewhere. But boy, have I learned to browse blogs well!!! I do get so much inspiration that I’m still able to get some quilting done. In fact, maybe more since I’m motivated! How much fabric do I have? Too scary to think about, even for Halloween!
Hi Amy…What a wonderful show and tell…a virtual rainbow of quilts…..I just need a few days to sit and look at them all!
Fantastic work guys!
By the way “What stash, who said I had a stash”?
Best Wishes

The Borderline Quilter
Yeah! I am so excited to participate! As for yards of fabric I have at least 12 bookselves full! My goal is to clear out the old and pare it down alot!
Thanks for hosting, Amy. How much yardage do I have in my stash? Too much? Oh, no, that’s not possible or I wouldn’t have to go to the quilt shop now and then to buy a specific fabric/color for a quilt. Let’s just say “Lots!”
Hi! I just found you through a link from “Wish Upon a Quilt”‘s blog and have now linked up through My Google, so I may be a part of this fun. I’ll think which quilt I’d like to share. :)
Dear Amy, thanks for hosting this amazing festival again! It’s the first time I’m participating but last year I was just observing (and absorbing). hehe
posted about this in my blog, the link is: http://auroracosecose.blogspot.com/2010/10/bloggers-quilt-festival.html and also I put your button with the link back to here. Should I do something else? Maybe I missed something in your instructions (english is not my first language.
cheers!!!
I love the mini picture links this year. Very fun! Thanks for hosting this. I cannot imagine all of the work that goes into it.
Um, I don’t know that I want to admit how many yds of fabric i Have in my stash… I would guesstimate that it’s close to 75 yds. I only know that because of how I store my fabric. It’s on boards and I know I have gone through 2 pkgs of 100 but that not all of that is yardage.
My first BQF! And I would not had finished my quilt if it wasn’t for your One thing- One Week challenge.
Thank you so much for organizing the 4th BQF – ther is so much creativity out there! As for my stash – I don’t even dare to estimate, probably about 120 yards. There are just too many beautiful fabric lines out there…
This quilt was made for one of my granddaughters. It is called “Bubbleflies”. It is the first quilt that I did free style quilting rather than just stitch in the ditch.
What a great idea! Please check out my website at http://www.farmersdotter if you like to go on retreats, like old fashioned, vintage quilt patterns, of if ya need someone to do a trunk show with vintage quilts!
I am a newbie quilter so I don’t have that much of a stash. Guessing about 5 yards max (including cut projects waiting to be put together).
I love the new format!
By volume, my stash has roughly equal quantities solids, prints and batiks… how’s that for a tidbit for you?
This is my first entry into the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. What a great idea you have! I decided to post one of my mom’s quilts in her honor, as she is my quilting inspiration. The world lost a great quilter when she passed, and I’m so glad to share her work with the quilting world now. Thanks so much for doing this, Amy.
How many yards do I have in my stash? I have ABSOLUTELY no idea! Since I make scrappy quilts with as many fabrics as possible I have a wide variety but most are not over 1/4 yard. My prints are mostly Kaffee Fassett and I use batiks and bright small allover prints as well.
I did it! I bit the bullet and entered my quilt!
Hmmmmm… I just started quilting less than a year ago. Approximately how many yards of fabric do I estimate that I have? Probably close to 200 – 300. Yes, yards!!!!
Obsessed much? :)
There is no way I’m adding up how much fabric I have! I don’t want to know and I really don’t want my husband to know. :)
Hi ..
I am so pleased to joining in on this Bloggers Quilt Festival with my Tisket and Tasket Quilt, a free BOM from Bunny Hills Design.
I have choosen this quilt because it is made as a coproduction with my mother who is 82 years old. She has always wanted to be a quilter but life did not want that for her. She is therefore very happy to learn the skill from me whenever she is visiting me.
Thanks for making this event possible!!
How much fabric I have in my stash?? Hmm a lot and maybe way to much but I love every little bits and pieces of it ;-))
Excited about a new festival. Thank…looking forward to all the wonderful inspiration. I don’t have any idea how much fabric I have in my stash, especially because it is stashed in 4 separate areas. Maybe that is so it doesn’t look too overwhelming??? Not sure but especially because my sewing area is really limited so I work very hard to keep what I currently available but cleared out of everything else so I have a place to work. But as you can guess as a quilter the “other” stuff is often in the works for something new.
I am so happy that this is happening! I discovered you festival/blog after the last one had ended and hoped to enter next year. Thank you for the Fall Festival!
How fun! I love looking at all the quilts!
Thank you Amy for organizing all of this. I am much more of a project stasher, and I would say that I have about 25 projects organized in my stash. Blogging though as shown me how many gorgeous fabrics there are out there, and I do admit to buying fabric, just because it is pretty.
I finally got my quilt finished and posted! Yay! I am so glad you do this festival. It is so much fun to look through everyone’s beautiful quilts! I think I have 15-20 yards of fabric. I really started accumulating it when I started sewing dresses! Before dresses, I would only buy fat quarters when I was just quilting.
Thanks again for organising Amy!
I don’t have a blog so can’t share, but I am loving seeing all of these gorgeous quilts!!!
The gallery of quilts is spectacular. It’s so enjoyable to what others are creating.
The gallery of quilts is spectacular. Thank you to everyone for sharing and the inspiration we are recieving. And thanks too to Amy and all the sponsors.
Thank you for hosting this festival. I have posted about it on my blog and have entered a quilt. So, please enter me in the giveaway.
I have put a link back to this post, but am not sure what you mean by #3 in your instructions, but will look into it. Maybe I will figure it out.
And, I wish I could tell you how many yards of fabric I have, but I truly do not know. It is safe to say I am a fabricholic, it there is such a thing. In my defense though, I do use my fabrics.
Thank you for hosting this festival. I have posted about it on my blog (with a link back) and have entered a quilt.
I am not too sure what you meant with #3 in your instructions, but will look into it further. Maybe, I will figure it out.
As to how many yards of fabric I have, I do not know. It is safe to say that I am a fabricholic, if there is such a thing. In my defense though, I do use my fabrics. I like having a stash because I can start any project without worrying about whether I will have enough or not.
Always love your Blogger’s Festival, Amy — thanks for hosting it again. I’m looking forward to browsing!
Diane
I’m new to blogging and new to the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. Wow, so glad I found it. Now to make a cuppa, settle back and enjoy the show. Thanks Amy.
Thanks for hosting another awesome Blogger’s Quilt Festival Amy! It’s a lot of fun to see everyone’s beautiful creations. :)
Bradie
PS Yardage huh? Totally clueless!! But now you’ve got me wondering….

Thanks for providing all this wonderful eye candy…I went to the IQF/Houston the last couple of years, but this year I am staying home and enjoying this show!
Oops I forgot to leave a comment.
I am enjoying visiting the blogs, learning much and leaving comments. Some of them are not allowing comments which is unfortunate.
As to how much fabric I have ,,,,,,,,,, more than I need …….. I whooooole lot less than many :)
I am so glad I thought about this for a few days. Entered a quilt I had nearly forgotten about, though I am not sure how I could have managed to.
I have no idea how much I have in my stash. My husband would say too much, but I would guess less than everyone else entering!
I am enjoying visiting the blogs. Will definitely take me a while since I want to comment at as many as possible.
Lots of fabulous quilts and amazing stories.
Thanks for taking the time to host this event again. I know it must have taken a wee bit of time to organize it.
I am relatively new at this, but this looks like a great way to get inspired!
Nancy Rose
I posted my quilt hours ago, but forgot to comment here! I’m so glad that you host this! As for yardage in my stash, I have NO idea, but I know it fills four 18 gallon totes, two boxes and two drawers in my craft cabinet. Probably enough that I don’t have much, if any excuse, to buy more for a long time. HA!
Hello! I just wrote my post and it’s scheduled for tomorrow! I’ll link it up then :)
I think I have about 300 yards of fabric in my stash! I know it’s quite a lot but I have big plans for it!!!! Thanks for hosting this again! I love participating :)
Although I am a crazy quilter now, I am loving the beautiful quilts here and the links to there blogs. Thanks for inspiration!
Smiles,
Pat
Finally finished a quilt start to finish in time to enter it in the Autumn Festival. I enjoy all the quilts and the links to all of the bloggers. You are so talented and energetic, plus having a creative side. Congrats on another successful festival.
Debbie
Thanks, Amy, for organizing this. The quilts are amazing! I don’t have much yardage in my stash really, but I am a complete sucker for fat quarters. I have literally hundreds of them. And now I am starting on charm packs and layer cakes. There’s something about a bundle of fat quarters all tied up or a neat stack of charm squares that just calls to my heart!
I posted a blog post about my first quilt. I have links in there back here, although the button isn’t perfect. . . time will help me learn all of this.
My stash is a about 200 yards I’m guessing. It really does add up fast. This estimate is because I have a lot of potential backings for the many items. Okay and the many yummy items I’ve been picking up on my travels around the region.
Now that I am all hooked up, I will have to find the time to read everyone’s stories. Your festval may go on for a week but the entries will keep me busy for a long. long, time. Thanks for getting this going again.
Amy, thanks once again for hosting the Festival.
I love seeing how differently we all use the same tools.
Love Esther
Thanks for organising this again! I love looking through all these gorgeous quilts. As to how many yards I have in my stash… hundreds I guess, but hopefully it hasn’t reached the thousands!
This is my first time entering your festival. I owe a lot to the blogging quilters community. So many great people, all happy to share their skills with newcomers such as myself.
I did a quick ballpark inventory and this is what I figured I have in my stash.
100-120 fat quarters
50 yards of quilting cottons prints
15 yards of quilting cottons solids
20 yards of hand died quilting cottons
30 yards of satin and brocades
40 yards of various fabrics for dressmaking
and one 20-gallon bin of scraps -mostly novelty prints collected for I-spy and doll clothes
Ok I’m truly ashamed I managed to accumulate this much in only 3 years although there are a lot of freebies in this mix. But I’m also having way too much fun sewing and quilting…

Hi Amy, thanks for the organisation of the bloggers quilt festival! You have done a great job, sponsor list is fabulous. There sure is plenty of inspiration in those links!! Megan
Hi Amy,
Thanks so much for doing the B.Q.F. again. It’s so much fun to see all the quilts!
Let’s see, a little info about me. I have no idea how many yards of fabric I own. A LOT! I have the “Great Wall of Fabric” in my studio – 2 big bookcases from Ikea, full!
Oh, and I won the Block Lotto today! I’ll be receiving 48 wonky star blocks! (www.blocklotto.blogspot.com) I’m so excited and happy, I’m jumping up and down!
Happy quilting,
Sharon
Thanks Amy for hosting such a great event. I am enjoying it so much. In my stash I have thousands of meters(yards) of fabric, as I own my own fabric company where I design modern fabrics for quilters. I really love fabric.
I recently posted at http://saffroncraig.com/_blog/Saffrons_Blog/post/bloggers-quilt-festival-9-block-quilt/
Thanks for this really cool event. Stashed fabrics? No idea, a whole room, so I´d guess 300 yards wouldn´t be exaggerated.
Greetings, Sabine
Thanks for a really cool event. I always enjoy looking at so many different quilts and reading the stories that come with them. As to my fabric stash, I am afraid that 300 yards wouldn´t be exaggerated.
Take care,
Sabine

Thank you so much for hosting this fun event! This is my first time participating – what fun! I think I have 20+ yards in my stash *which may or may not be that much*, but I feel like I need to get on it!!
AnneMarie @ Gen X Quilters
This is my first time participating in the BQF. Thanks, Amy! It’s fun to see all the quilts.
What a fantastic idea! I wish I had a completed quilt to enter. I only just started quilting one of my tops. I did make a post on my blog telling everyone to come visit though. I can’t wait to browse through all the great blogs!
I know this is probably for the entrants, but I think I probably only have abut 10-15 yards in my stash.
I’m so excited about my first quilt festival, both online and in person. This is such a great, inspiring website.
I’m a new quilter, but I’ve got tons of fabric. One of the greatest thing about quilting is how beautiful fabrics can be.
The quilts are all beautiful! I probably have 300-400 yards in my stash. ugh! :)
Thanks for hosting this again Amy! I love seeing everyone’s work. I’m a little late, but I just posted my entry today. And I’m currently working on the next. Have a great week!
WOW, I’m amazed at all the submissions this time! I am loving all the great comments everyone is leaving on my blog too! Thanks for visiting, Amy!
HI Amy,
I just linked up. Thank you so much for hosting this. I look forward to it every year!!
I couldn’t tell you how many yards are in my stash. For one, I’m not even sure – waaay more than I could ever use, that’s for sure! and two, because my husband is loitering behind me and might have a heart attack if he knew how many! Thanks again for hosting this! It’s always so much fun!
What a great idea! This is my first time participating in the quilt festival and I’m submitting the first quilt I ever made.
My fabric addiction just began and my stash is steadily growing. :)
Hola, Amy! He decidido participar del Festival, a pesar de ser una Quilter muy novata y que aún me falta mucho por aprender! He colocado mi post, espero que disfruten de la historia y de las imágenes! Gracias por darnos esta oportunidad de participar! Un abrazo!
I love the thumbnails this time around. Thanks for a fun Festival and thanks to all the sponsors!
Thank you for holding the Blogger’s Quilt Festival!! It is so fun and inspiring to see everyone’s creative inspirations.
Thank you for hosting this. It is fun and inspiring to see everyone’s work.
So much fun! Thanks, Amy! I love knowing others share my love of fabric. I’m forced to admit that my stash ranges from the 1970’s, when I worked at a fabric shop in college, to the present day, and incorporates parts of my mom’s and grandma’s stashes, inherited when they died. Sewing and quilting connects me to them!
Since I just started quilting this year, I haven’t built up much of a stash. At least I don’t think I have. I probably have a total of 10 yards of various fabrics, a couple layer cakes, a jelly roll and about 20 fat quarters. And I have plans for most of them.
Thanks for a great quilt festival!
Thank you for hosting the Blogger’s Quilt Festival Fall 2010. It is so fun and inspiring to see everyone’s work.
Wow, so many wonderful quilts already! I hope I did the right things and everything is ok :o) Great giveaways!!
Merete
Just discovered the quilt festival via an email sent to me…HOW EXCITING!!! I am excited to get started visiting some of the many blogs involved.
Sherry Ann
Im not sure my first comment came through…. Its wonderful that so many wants to participate, I will try to see most of the quilts and read their story.
Merete
So glad I’m still in time to enter the quilt festival!! I sewed my butt off this weekend to get this one finished. LOVE LOVE LOVE looking through all these beautiful quilts.
THANK YOU so much for hosting another tremendously successful BQF! Congrats too! As far as yards of fabric in my stash… I don’t think either of us wants to do the math on that. It’s a number that would probably make me a little uncomfortable. But of course, there’s always room for more!
Wow! Look at all these quilts. Beautiful work!
This is my first Blogger’s Quilt Festival and I love seeing everyone’s quilts, so inspiring!
How many yards of fabric? I’d be ashamed to admit!
Thanks for hosting another Quilt Fest!
This is soooo fun! Thank you so much!
As to my stash…..I have no idea but it is growing RAPIDLY! LOL!
Thanks for the effort made to organize this project. I didn’t know what to expect but it has surpassed my expectations. As a matter of interest I can estimate that I probably have a kilometre of fabric. I can count my thimbles (10) not all used at the same time; scissors – 12, also not used simultaneously; and threads 49 – quite a few repeat colours.
Thanks again. I will be better prepared for the next event
Oh Amy… This is soooo much fun! Thanks heaps for organising this. I’m really enjoying looking at everybodys’ quilts. Happy days :-)
Thank you for all the work you put into this festival Amy – it’s so much fun!
Now, how much fabric do I have in my stash? Wow, I’m afraid to start counting and measuring, and you know what? I’m not gonna! LOL! I store my fabric in plastic mushroom crates and there are fifteen of them now, completely packed with fabric. I would probably have enough to keep me making quilts for the rest of my life without buying another piece ever. But we all know that’s not an option right? ;-)
I was debating participating all weekend and finally decided to just go for it, so thank you for inspiring me! I probably have….I don’t know 30ish yards of fabric…I tend not to buy unless it is for a specific project so a bunch of that will be gone in the next few months.
Thank you so much…this is always fun!
Thanks so much for hosting this Amy! This is such a great way to become involved in the online quilting community. :D
I’m not really sure how much yardage is in my stash, but I did count through my Oriental collection the other day, which makes up most of what I have. So, not counting the handful of fabrics already separated in project boxes, I currently have 155 different Oriental fabrics in my stash and am on the lookout for more. :)
Thanks again!
Hi Amy
Thanks for running the festival again. There are some really stunning quilts in this one.I have posted my quilt which you can see here:
http://sewjournal.com/2010/11/02/a-finish/
As for the stash – I’m hopeless at estimating yardages but as I’ve only been quilting for two years I guess I can say it’s a lot smaller than most. :)
Cheers

Thanks for hosting the festival! Always so much fun to see all the beautiful quilts.
I love this- and thanks for letting any and all participate.
I’m still pretty new to quilting, so my stash is actually pretty manageable- it can all fit in one big rubbermaid tote. I’m sure that will change, though.
I love this festival- thanks for making it open to anyone to participate. It’s so inspiring to browse all these pages.
I’m still pretty new to quilting, so my stash is actually pretty manageable- it all fits in one big rubbermaid bin.
Thanks for doing this, again, Amy! I’ve had such a great time making my way through the quilts and leaving comments.
How many yards of fabric in my stash? Hmmmmm….I don’t do very much stash shopping. I like to have a project in mind so I know I have enough fabric to complete it. BUT, maybe 20 yards (and 1 layer cake :-) ).
Thanks so much for going to the trouble of pulling all this together! No doubt, it’s one of the coolest events out there in blogland!
Love the new setup with the thumbnail pics! Great job as always thanx!
Thanks again for hosting! This is the closest I get to participate in a quilting show. I have over 20 spools of color thread. And when it’s on sale, I still buy more! Even if I have the color already. The addiction is just as bad as my fabric addiction.
If I had to estimate how many yards of fabric I have in my stash I would say 150…it would be interesting to actually find out for sure.
This is my first time in the Bloggers Quilt Festival. I heard about it last year from my friend Lollyquiltz so I was so happy to be a part of it this year! My stash is so big and organized for me in my disorganization!! Oh dear, more scrappy quilts to make!! Thanks Amy for all your work!!
How many yards? Are you trying to embarrass us? Too Many, is the answer. And I vow to make it a much smaller, less embarrassing pile by next year.
Thanks for all your hard work helping us all be better artists. I appreciate your talents!
Best…
Thank you for hosting such a wonderful event Amy – I just love it! As to how many yards of fabric are in my stash, I’m not 100% sure, but it would somewhere in the 10 – 20yds range I should think. Thanks again, Kathleen.
I think all my scraps together measure less than a yard. I’m still new to quilting so I haven’t built up a stash yet.
http://mysweetprairie.blogspot.com/2010/11/bloggers-quilt-festival-my-entry.html
I hope I did this right… but here’s the link to my blogpost entry. By the way, I’m really enjoying this! What a fabulous idea! ;)

testing testing… did it work?
resending.

Phew! Loads of great quilts to admire and to read about!
I refuse to figure out how many yards of fabric I have in my stash. I’ve been quilting for close to 15 years, and once…about 10 years ago…I figured that I had enough to make a dozen king sized quilts. And now I have at least 50% more.
Thanks to the wonderful sponsors of the giveaways!
Deb
I have soooo much fabric in my stash I can not even guess. Thanks for hosting:)
Amy, so nice of you to organize this quilt festival. good to see all amazing quilts at one place.
Regarding my stash fabric…i have not counted it yet…i think i have fabric for a 2 king size quilt in my stash …lol..
I have absolutely no idea how many yards in my stash and it’s not even that big. Thank you Amy for hosting the festival it is a wonderful way to showcase all these beautiful quilts.
I collect many small pieces of fabrics no larger than quarter yards or less for crazy quilting so it would be hard to imagine how many yards in my stash….I would have to guess 250 yards of fancy fabrics and 100 yards of cottons.
Pat
Thank you for hosting this wonderful festival again. I’ve hadsuch a fun timelooking at quilts and discovering great blogs that I’d probably not have found otherwise. Its lovely to see the proud work of others and to be able to share my own.
Can’t even hazard a guess on amount of fabric I have in stash – quite enough to make many, many, many more quilts. But I like to think of it like paint – artists can’t create without a good colour palette availble to them to try out and neither can we!
Thanks Amy – I love the festival and love being able to share my humble quilts with these stunners
LOVED looking at all the quilt thumbnail photos!
Amazing!
Just added mine. Thanks for hosting!!
Thank you for hosting this again, Amy. So many beautiful quilts to see.
The festival is a great opportunity to connect with new quilters and to see new blogs. As a “small fish” in blogland, I love having new people find my blog as well. My stash is mainly in fat quarters – it fills an entire (repurposed) baby armoire and I’m trying to keep it from expanding beyond the cabinet but I’m not succeeding!
Finally figured how to link up. I always give up too soon. I have been entertaining and inspiring myself looking at all the guilts and reading about them. thanks Amy for doing all that made the Bloggers Quilt Festival Possible
Hi Amy! Love this festival, thanks! Yards of fabric…probably about 500, but if you ask my husband…I have 5000! ;)
Amy, I forgot to tell you about the size of my stash. Would you believe 300+ yards of quilting fabric. I’ve been quilting for about 15 years, and my taste has changed over time.
I’ve been trying to use up some of this fabric by making lap quilts for the charity group in our guild.
Thanks again Amy.
What a wonderful way to get to a quilt show!!! And I love everything I see. And you don’t have to dress up. Great for getting the creative juices flowing.
I have no idea how many yards of fabric but I’m sure it’s way over 500…… time to reduce I think. But I have several ideas brewing from the show.
Hi ! I DID IT !! my first festival ! I checked and it seems to have worked ; So here it is ! yay ! How much stash ? even though I’m a newbie quilter , I’ve been sewing for 35-40 years and I make a lot of charity blankets — enough said ! I am shopping and found some fabulous 79″ tall shelves at Lowe’s for all my pretties ! My husband will be thrilled because HE will install them for me ! thanks again AMY!!!! this is FUN FUN FUN !
I’ve been trying to comment for 2 days now but its been broken! Thankyou for th wonderful quilt festival Amy, my black and white Headliner Quilt has been submitted! I soooo love looking at all these lovely quilts, such an inspiration to lil’ old me. This is only my second proper quilt!
Thanks for the opportunity to participate! There is no way I know how much yardage is in my stash – it is definitely way too much though.
Amy this is a wonderful idea. It’s just so much fun to see all the quilts. Thanks for hosting. I’ve did a post and added one of my quilts. I really don’t have much yardage about 2 yards of cotton scraps. And about 40 yards of fannel – which is way too much. I’ll be using that up this year.
Thanks Amy for hosting this amazing festival. Love the quilts and the stories that go along with them.
Thanks to all the sponsors too!
Totally loving the new display with the thumbnail pictures!! Thanks for putting this together with great sponsors once again too!
As for my stash, my gosh, I hesitate to even try to estimate how big it is. TOO big. I think I could not buy another fat quarter the rest of my life and still not finish using up my stash!
Hmmm, it would be really hard for me to guess how much yardage I have condsidering all the precuts/fat quarters too, but I’d have to say at least 75 yards, probably alot more. LOL.
I just posted on my blog:
http://tangledthreads-beads.blogspot.com.
I love looking at all the quilts.
Thank you for hosting this! I love looking and getting inspiration from all of the beautiful quilts!
Oh, well…..I just can’t get Mr. Linky working with me this morning. But I did post my picture on Flickr. Yards of fabric? I’m counting…..hmmmmmmm…I’m still counting….now I’ve lost count so I guess I’ll just go buy more!
I love your quilt festival! I’m so happy to be a part of it this year. I have no idea how many yards of fabric are in my ever expanding stash, but this Thursday, I’m headed for the Houston Quilt Show, so I have a feeling my stash will be much larger on Friday : )
I have no idea how many yards, but too many I am guessing, time to destash LOL
Muchas grácias por la organización del Bloggers Quilt Festival. Espero que te guste mi colcha, que después de dos años, durante éste otoño por fin he terminado.
Espero que te guste!!!
http://laboresgloria.blogspot.com/2010/11/en-pleno-otono-bloggers-quilt-festival.html
I’m guessing I have under 200 yards in my stash. I usually just buy for projects, but have started getting a few too many UFO’s and need to finish before I buy more. I’ve found that I’m now buying more notions than fabric.
i have posted about my very first quilt i ever made and the memories that go with it!
i love the idea of hearing the stories behind the quilts…
Once again you have provided us all with such inspiration and shown us that talent abounds in women everywhere.
I have a big beautiful sewing room, a dream come true but alas I don’t get to sew every day (hubby is in nursing home) but I get in there every chance I get. My stash has diminished over the years… not much to talk about, I’m sorry to say.
Thank you for doing this, Amy. You are our hero…. or isn’t that heroine!!! You are the best.
oh, amy. if i were to guess, i’d say i have AT LEAST 250 yards in my stash. that seems like a whole lot when i think of it as a whole! and i think it’s conservative!
Thank you for giving bloggers a collective place to show off!
As for how many yards of fabric I have in my stash, I have no idea! Most of my fabrics comes from reclaimed/upcycled sheets and I’m too lazy to measure the yardage. But I can say that I have a lot of fabric… like A LOT!
Thank you for giving bloggers a place to share their quilts and stories!
As for how many yards of fabric I have in my stash? That’s a tough question to answer. Most of my fabric are from upcycled/reclaimed sheets from thrift store finds, and I’m too lazy to measure them. It’s safe to say that I have *a lot* of fabric in my stash.
I love looking at all of the beautiful quilts! Thanks so much for hosting this.
This is my first time posting to the Blogger’s Quilt Festival. I have only been blogging for a month and then this opportunity came up. Thank you so much, Amy, for sponsoring this wonderful display that demonstrates the enormous creativity of quilters everywhere!
This is the second time I’ve participated in your quilt festival – thanks for setting it up!
I would guess that I have about 50 yards of fabric in my stash. Whoa…actually trying to guesstimate a number there is actually scary. I definitely need to have more time in the day to get more sewing done!

Great Blogger’s Quilt Festival – I’m excited to see some of the other entries. I can not begin to estimate the yardage I have in my stash!
Thank you for giving all the bloggers a place to show off our quilts!
As for how many yardage of fabric I have in my stash… I can’t answer that since I don’t really know. Most of my fabric comes from upcycled/reclaimed sheets, and I never measured them… Lets just say that I have a lot, and leave it at that….
I don’t dare count or even guess how many yards of fabric are in my stash. Over 100 I’m sure, maybe over 200. So many plans, so little time!
I love all these amazing quilts in one location to see. Thankyou for hosting such a great festival.
My fabric stash is at least under control after I’ve cleaned it out adn organized it. But It’s still overflowing the cupboards and sewing closet I have it organized in. But that doesn’t stop me from buying more…
I think I have to measure my fabric stash in ACRES, not yards :-)
Thanks for hosting this festival … I can’t wait to go surfing!
Thank you again, Amy! I recently got this quilt quilted! I made it in 1997. lol… Anyhoo, this is the second time that I’ve mentioned it on my blogs; the first here on my quilt blog and with good reason…for this festival. Wow, the time flies and I’ve learned a whole world of information and am still learning – from you and your quilt along for instance. It is true that we learn something everyday. lol… How much fabric is in my stash? Whewwwww! I’m guessing about 300 yards … that is just a guess. Wouldn’t it be scary to count it and there is actually MORE!!! Yikes, I am not a fabric store…lol! Thanks for the opportunity and for encouraging us quilters to share our quilts!! You ROCK!!!
I’ve been looking forward to this quilt festival for months now. So glad it is finally here. I love looking at all the creations. I could not even begin to count how many yards of fabric are in my stash. Plus I’ve got baskets of scraps that I just cannot let go of! Thanks so much for hosting this. I love the internet!
This is a fun idea, Amy. Thanks for doing it!
I have NO idea how many yards I have in my stashES. We have two houses, and each has its very own stash. Easily hundreds of yards, however. My fabrics (and quilts) in Florida are brighter, bolder, and often tropical. My NC fabrics and quilts are somewhat more subdued. So you see, I NEED two large stashes. LOL.
Amy, thank you so much for organizing this awesome event! We appreciate your hard work! It is so fun to see all these wonderful quilts! What a wonderful givaway!! Thanks! Polly
Thanks for hosting this again Amy. I just love how many hours I get to sit here and gather inspiration.
I am not sure how to estimate how big my stash is. It takes up 16 storage bins, plus a few bins of scraps. Let’s just say that I shouldn’t buy more fabric for awhile.
I have no idea how many yards of fabric are in my stash! Hundreds? I love seeing so many quilts all together! Thanks for hosting!
What a fabulous event! There are so many talented quilt makers out there. I’m LOVING looking at all these beautiful quilts! Amazing!
Fabric? I bet I have about 70 yards or so. That’s crazy, haha!
So much pretty eye candy! I haven’t gotten any work done all evening! Also, I just subscribed to the blog, so you’ve definitely gone over 1200 subscribers now – yeah! Thanks, Amy!
I’ve been quilting for exactly a year, and I don’t have much ‘stash’ at all. I’ve bought fabric for specific projects, many, many projects. I love the shopping part of quilting as much as the sewing part! Thanks for putting this all together! I can’t wait to take the time to look at all the other quilts.
Thanks for hosting again, I’ve browsed in the past but this is my first year entering a post.
I can’t believe how many entries there are!! I looked through quite a few on the first day and now….well let’s just say I am behind! So glad that I entered a quilt this go-round.
I would not even pretend to have a clue how many yards of fabric that I have. Some of it is now ‘vintage’ while other has gone out of style and come back in again! :D
Thanks, AMY!
What a treat to see so many beautiful quilts in so little space!
Yards of fabric? Oh my! I don’t know where to start measuring. Let me just say that regardless of what I have on hand, there is still never enough!
I am really honored to take part in this Festival. I’m beginner quilter and my works are far far far away of the quilts presented here! But I’m glad I’m here and I hope that next year my quilt will be better:)
Thanks for hosting again. I counted the value of my stash several years ago and was shocked!! I don’t even have that much, but probably over 200 yards. Seems like a lot for me. Can’t wait to browse all the quilts!!
Thank you for coordinating this again. It is a great event! Guessing the yardage in my stash?!!! Maybe 50 yards.
Well, can’t really tell you how many yards of fabric I have, but I can say not that many. Particularly if I count the none-allocated fabric, since I have many projects in development, so to speak :)
I’ve just started quilting and sewing in general in Jully and so it’s been a dilema trying to decide between diversity or quantity of the same fabric. Usually diversity wins, but then I use it and it starts all over again. I think the fabrics I have the most amount of are solids I fell in love with and can use them on so many different projects. Hope I can increase my stash, I love fabric! :)
Thank you for doing this again. I have about a bazillion yards in my stash — I’m a dyer, so it’s my job — LOL!
Amy, thanks for hosting, this is my first entry in the quilt festival – so exciting! As for yards of fabric in my stash…I’m afraid if I started calculating that I’ll never buy fabric again lol! Let’s say 50 yards. :-)
Another success, Amy! Love the thumbnail photos of the quilts. Quite the gallery.
As for the amount of yards in my stash. Well, I’m gonna guess 40. I don’t have a lot and I’m trying to use it up so I can start collecting different types of fabric.
Thanks again for all you do to inspire us to create!
This is my first ever link up to anything! I have made a ton of quilts, but always been nervous to share them! :)
Thanks for hosting! I get so much inpiration for all the entries… Love seeing some many diverse quilts.
Amy, thanks so much for creating this festival. I’ve always been a lurker and have enjoyed everyone’s work each time, but this time I decided to put a quilt into the pool. I learn so much from the quilter’s I meet online and am always looking forward to this event!
Love this event and this time I put a quilt in!
I am so happy to be able to enter this time around!! I can’t wait to check out everyone’s beautiful work. Thanks so much for hosting, this is always so much fun :)
i love the quilt blogger’s festival, what a great idea! i’m heading down to houston to the other festival in a few moments, but wanted to stop by and see what’s going on here. so many awesome quilts… thanks for sharing everyone!
trying again (i’m getting an error message)… love the blogger’s quilt fest, what a great idea! will enjoy looking at these when i get back from houston.
Am loving the blogger quilt festival…such an array of beauties.
Stash: Too large to figure the yardage!
Thank you so much for hosting! This is my very first entry into the festival. As for yards in my stash. At least 100 if not 150. Yikes!
Amy, Thankyou so much for organizing this festival. I am soooo excited to go and visit so many creative people.
About how much fabric I have… well I’m not admitting that little fact. Let’s just say that i have enough to keep me busy. Now if only I could find more time.
I’m so happy it’s Quilt Festival time again! I LOVE the pictures of all the quilts in one place. Thanks Amy…fantastic job, once again!
Thanks for hosting! It’s so inspiring to look at everyone’s creations.
Better late than never;) As for an estimated amount of yardage in my stash…..I would say (with an actual counting of one tote, and multiplying that by the number of totes) 750 to 1000 yards. I really should be quilting right now;)
Happy Quilting!!
Thank you so much for hosting the Quilt Festival. I’m afraid to know how many yards are in my stash!! But, the one who dies with the most fabric, wins, right? :)
Hmm, something entertainging…? Well I am fairly new to quilting, couldn’t cut a straight line if my life depended on it and I have about 15 yards of “unused” fabric…pretty pathetic by most quilters standards:)
Thanks for hosting, your bloggers quilt festival serves as a great inspiration to me!
So glad to be part of the festival!
Wow! you have a lot of people sharing quilts. I certainly hope you enjoy mine!
Fabric yardage – I have no idea, too much!
I do know that I am about to bust out of my sewing room and I look forward to when my last son leaves my home in the next few months so I can expand my load for creativeness! Thanks for the effort put in to have others be able to share their own creativity.
I’m so excited, I finally got my quilt finished and entered! I’m trying to look at all of the quilts but there are so many! So much fun. Thanks for making it happen, Amy!
First time on BQF…yeah!!How much fabric do I have??? 20 years worth and still going strong…From the Editor’s page of Machine Quilting Unlimited a recent survey says “the average dedicated quilter purchases 93.6 yards of fabric per year” hmmmm 7.8 yards a month…no problem!! Thanks for organizing this fun featival of many quilts!!
Wow, wow, wow – I’m so amazed by all of these beautiful entries! Definitely a fantastic pool of inspiration.
I have absolutely no clue as to how much fabric is in my stash, because not only is there a ton of it, but it’s scattered in piles all over my craft room. We’re moving in a couple of weeks, so maybe that will be a good excuse to take inventory!
Hello Amy,
I’m so happy to be participating in your festival again this year.
Thanks for all the hard work and the fun!!!
Many many blogs to visit :-)
I have no clue how much fabric is in my stash right now. Too much and not enough. :) This is my first year participating!
Thanks, Amy! This is my first year entering a quilt and I’m glad I did! So many cool giveaways! Thanks for the opportunity! :o)
What fun! Is it possible to figure yardage of selvages? Do I have to count the yardage of the fabric the selvages came from? LOL
I had so much fun making this quilt – almost as much fun as I had looking at all these beautiful quilts!
Thanks so much for hosting this Amy! (And a big thank you to all the sponsors!)
There are so many great pieces here and I am so happy to be a part of it! I went from taking a beginner’s class this past fall, to be the teacher of the class now! so many beautiful colors, so little time!!! thank you so much for your inspiration!
Thanks so much for organizing this quilt festival Amy!! I’m having way too much fun looking at all the beautiful quilts! As for the size of my stash … I’m not quite sure … probably in the triple digits, but never big enough! :)
Thanks for hosting this again! So much eye candy… As for how much fabric is in my stash, I really don’t know, but it’s a very un-quilter like stash: very small!
Thank you for hosting this again! So much eye candy, so little time…The thumbnail photos are great to help me remember where I’ve already visited. About my stash – I really don’t know how much I have, except to say it’s very small by quilters’ standards!
Better late than never;) Yardage in my stash…..really, I only know because I’ve been counting for insurance…..750-1000 yards;) I really should be quilting right now;)
Happy Quilting!!
Yay! I made it in time this year! I’m looking forward to spending some time tonight looking through everyone’s gorgeous quilts and enjoying the show. There are 100’s of yards of fabric in my stash, and they all stink of mothballs at the moment *lol* We live in a hot, humid area and Spring sees a rather large bug invasion and a rather pesky possum who prefers to sleep in my fabric rather than a tree! toni xxx
c’est avec plaisir que je participe à chaque fois à votre festival d’édredons ,j’ai regardé avec soin tout les blogs pour moi aussi faire ma sélection la semaine prochaine cela m’amuse beaucoup et je regarde les édredons différemment. amicalement
I’m so excited to finally be doing a Blogger’s Quilt Festival! I’ve lost count of how many yards of fabric I have in my stash, but I would guess maybe 200.
I love looking at all the wildly different quilts in the festival!
Officially entered!!!! Yay!! Thanks for all the work you do to make this possible!
Hello Amy, thanks for the festival again.
Lets see, something interesting about me…
I have been quilting for 15ish years. I love ALL quilting methods and styles. I also like traditional and art quilts. Almost anything goes at my house when it comes to this great hobby. My favorite part about quilting is the design process. I prefer quilts that are unique to me — none others like them. Occasionally I make a quilt from someone else’s pattern but I will typically alter it.
Thanks again for the festival!
There are so many gorgeous quilts here! I just want to dig into each picture for a little morning inspiration :) And I especially love the modern quilts. I always want to see the fabric and not get to distracted by the quilting patterns :) That’s why I love modern, it’s crisp and clean look.
This quilt festival is simply awesome – So much talent and inspiration out there!!! Thanks for hosting!
My first Blogger’s Quilt Festival – looks like I finished my quilt just in time! I have added my blog post for you to see.
I have only been quilting for a few months & am addicted already – I have not yet managed to build up a very large stash of fabric so I would estimate that I probably only have a bout 2 yards of fabric in my stash but I am hoping that if maybe I win one of your prizes then my stash will increase in size!
Thank you for the opportunity to join in with the fun.

Amy, I have enjoyed looking at all the quilts – I am so inspired! I am guessing that I have about 100 yards of fabric, quilting fabric, that is. I have about half that in dressmaking and home dec fabrics. I better get busy!
Look at all the pretty quilts distracting me from my novel this NaNoWriMo… so pretty… so making me want to sew even though I should be writing. Thanks for the pretty quilts, everyone! You are all so gifted!
How fun is this?! My 1st time participating. Thanks for organizing such a fun “show and tell”. As far as my “stash” goes…I just started quilting last year and don’t have much of one collected yet. It sure would be fun to WIN some fabric to START a stash!
What a fun way to “show and tell” our favorite quilts. Thank you for organizing such a fun event. This is my 1st time to participate as I’ve only been quilting since last year and blogging since May. I don’t have much of a stash yet, but it would be GREAT to win some fabric to start my “stash” ;)
Let’s see, my stash has about 10 yards but mine included with my mom’s that I am “holding” and “using” for her (and that she accumulated over years of working at JoAnns) has about 35-40 yards!
I need another calico like I need to trip over my own feet at night!
LOL
Thanks for hosting the festival again and thanks to the sponsors. I always enjoy store shopping off events such as these!
Thanks for organizing this – it’s so fun to see all these lovely quilts in one place! I’m fairly new to quilting, but I probably have well over fifty yards in my stash. It keeps growing too – yikes! Off to work on my next quilt and make a dent in that stash!
Love love love this idea, and am just sad I never discovered it before this week! I can’t wait to be a regular contributor each time Festival rolls around. It’s very inspiring and a great way to network without having to walk the aisles!
My post is called “Bloggers Quilt Festival – like attending Festival without getting out of your jammies”. Because it is!
What an incredible S H O W you have on here! Thanks so much Amy, for having all of us, and to your fabulous sponsors for the chance to win so many fun giveaways. Quilts are art and this is a blooming gallery!
This Festival in fantastic! Thank you very much for the opportunity to share my quilt with you!
Amy, I have had so much fun looking at all of the quilt’s posted! What a great idea. I am also very proud of myself for figuring out all of the “linky” stuff. Too much time spent on the computer today! Tonight I am back to quilting.
This is so fun! I was scheduled to go to Houston’s International Quilt show this week, but because of an medical emergency with my “quilt buddy’s” husband, we had to cancel at the last minute. I feel like I can at least take part in some kind of quilt festival now. Thank you!!
I am really glad that I could take part in such interesting international event! All quilts are gorgeous! Thank you very much for inspiration and a great work put in organizing Blogger’s Quilt Festival!
Blogger’s Quilt Festival is a great idea to find people who makes wonderful quilts! I have about 10 yards of fabrics at this moment, but couple weeks ago I was owner of the small e-shop with patchwork fabrics. Unfortunately in Poland it’s hard to handle this kind of business so I closed it. I have big end-sale so it’s end of something but also start of something new :)
I have finally had a chance to post my quilt–phew! Just in the nick of time!
Wow, I have no idea how much fabric I have in my stash–but I know I have at least 100 different yards that I would like play with right now! Thanks for organizing this again–I think this is the 3rd or 4th time I have participated and I love how you are linking with pictures–that is beautiful!
Blessings!
Carin
I would guess that I have atleast 60 yards of fabric in my stash but seriously that is just a guess. All of these quilts are just amazing.
This is just a brilliant idea, and I am thrilled to participate. My blog post is “Blogger’s Quilt Festival – like going to Festival without getting out of your jammies.” I look forward to enjoying lots of new blogs!
This is my first time in the Quilt Festival-what great quilts there are! I have no idea how many yards of fabric I have, but they fit into 3 large tubs + a smaller tub and a large shopping bag full of scraps.
It’s too scary to think how many yards I might have in my stash, I don’t wanna go count, LOL!
Thanks for posting the Quilt Festival. I am excited to go see all the amazing quilts out there!
Love reading about all these fantastic quilts. What a great idea! Like many here, I think it would be more appropriate to list my stash in terms of bolts, rather than yards. That should give you an idea….
How much fabric I have in my stash? Perhaps a years worth of sewing? I have no idea…but now I’m intrigued.
I posted my quilt and am enjoying all of the quilts. Great source of inspiration. Thanks!
This was so fun–thank you! My stash here in Mongolia is a challenge as it is almost impossible to obtain cotton of any kind here, never mind good quality/prints, etc. So, I have to think waaay ahead when I’m home in the US and then depend on boxes from my daughter to fill in–sometimes this can be a challenge to sudden spurts of creativity. …but all good and stretches me for sure!
I love this event! I can’t believe I almost missed it! The new quilt thumbnails are fabulous! Love it. I am amazed at your efforts and willingness to host this event. Always inspiring.
As for stash…My husband estimates that there are hundreds (7-8 says he) between the quilting fabric, fleece, felt, clothing and the like! Hmmm…quilting fabric though is well over 100 yards but I am trying to work on bringing it back to a decent amount!
Thank you so much!
thank you again for hosting this awesome event!!! I’m not sure I have a clue how many yards I have in my stash… but then again, that would mean that we would have to differentiate between the old stash…that I discovered a year or so ago when I started blogging, that I no longer had the same taste in fabrics anymore…and therefore found it necessary to start a “new” stash…ahem, well then…let’s just say, thanks again Amy for hosting this most awesome event!!!
I really don’t have that many full yards, as in one cut, but lots and lots of smaller pieces and scraps. In fat quarter and bigger size it would probably be somewhere between 40 and 50 yards? maybe? I have no idea :)
WOW…Love the little pics of all the quilts! Not sure how many yds of fabric are in my stash. My husband would say “too many.” I just got two more boxes of fun fabrics from someone on Freecycle a few weekends ago :D Now I just need to turn them all in to quilts!
What a wonderful event and I am happy that I was able to join in on time! I have enjoyed seeing some of the quilts posted and I am looking forward to seeing the rest of them!!
How many yards of fabric in my stash….hmmmm, I am sure there is at least 50 (although I am sure that there is much more than that!!
Thank you Amy for hosting this!

What a wonderful event and I am so happy that I was able to join in on the fun in time!! So far all of the quilts I have seen are amazing and I am looking forward to seeing the rest of them!!
Im my stash I would have to say at least 50 yards, although I am sure there is more than that!
Thank you Amy for hosting this!!
http://craftyirlcreations.blogspot.com/2010/11/bloggers-quilt-festival.html
Thanks for hosting this Amy..all of the quilts that I have seen are amazing!
I would say 50+ yards in my stash and it seems to keep growing!
Yardage? Well, probably around 15 total. My husband starts to freak out if too much accumulates!
I was in such a hurry when linking up with my festival quilt, that I don’t remember if I have already commented too, but I rather feel that I forgot to do it. If I have already commented, then please forgive me for doubling!
I have no idea of the size of my stash! I have 2 big IKEA paper boxes with 2 drawers each, and a stack of Debbie Mum in a different cupboard – you can tell that those are my treasures :-)
Thanks for the Festival, I enjoyed it again!
Kristina

Another fantastic festival. Thanks so much Amy for doing all this!!! LOVE IT!!!
Thanks so much Amy for putting the BQF together again! I can’t wait to peruse through all the entries!
thank-you Amy for putting the BQF together! I can’t wait to peruse the entries!
p.s. I left a comment and don’t see it, so if this is a dup, just delete it!
Just entered my quilt! Thanks so much for hosting Amy. Now off to go check out all the quilts!
I really don’t have much of a fabric stash. I tend to buy fabric as I need it and then use most of it in the intended quilt. I do keep the small stash I have under my son’s cot, so at night I have to be really quiet when I’m rustling around looking for the right fabric. Thanks for a fantastic festival Amy!!
What a Super Idea! I love being able to look at such wonderful quilts all in one place! Thank you for putting this together! I think I will be spending some time……… here checking these all out.
Hi Amy! Thanks for doing this again! This is the first time I have submitted to the show and I’m looking forward to some feedback! I love seeing all the “eye candy” that everyone shares.
Andre’s quilt was so much fun to make. Just putting all the words together and making them into a puzzle was very gratifying for me. I started with his full name, and the month he was born and went from there adding all the words that his parents and sister and I came up with and VOILA, a quilt was born!
Thanks again for doing this!
I am loving all these fabulous quilts! I’m not quite sure how much fabric I have in my stash. I guess I would estimate about 40 yards. (More like 40 metres since I live in the great white north.) :)
Hi Amy,
A little something about me…I like to go in quilt shops and pick out fabric, carry it around, feel it in my hands, admire it, and after about 10 minutes, I put it back. It’s almost like buying it, but not. If that makes sense. It’s a quick fix for me! Just don’t tell the quilt shops!
I really looked forward to this event, it is so much fun to have a gallery of wonderful quilts to look at. Thank you so much for hosting it!
This is a wonderful wonderful opportunity thank you!!
For my quilt I used 1 1/2 yards of green, purple, and light purple. I purchased 3 yards of the ivory and 4 yards of the yellow to create the backing.
I love the way it turned out and thank you for letting me show it off!
This has been such a joy to watch! Amy -you rock, lady.
My stash is so large that my husband actually said to me that other day that maybe it might be a good idea to get my own studio OUTSIDE of our home. I vote for a backyard treehouse studio. Not gonna happen, but a gal can dream.
Thanks so much for organizing this wonderful quilt festival! It’s great to be able to share and to see all the beautiful quilts others are making and to read the stories behind them.
Thanks for a great blogger quilt festival! I would say I have about 20 yards of fabric. Not nearly enough :-)
Thanks so much for hosting this! Im so glad Im getting to participate this year!
In my stash??? Seriously?? I would say over 75 yards and counting! That is all Im owning up to though!
Cant wait to look thru all the quilts!
Im sorry, I posted my link twice. The second one is the correct one to the actual post. The first one is just to my blog
Thanks!
My project was with a Neptune Jelly Roll. I had so much fun with it, and I still have three more left. This project took over a year, so it looks like I get to play with more neptune for three more years!
It’s great to see all the wonderful quilts! I don’t have a big stash. Mostly 1/2 or 1 yard pieces.
This is a lovely idea. It’s so fun to look at the quilts. I don’t have a lot of stash… mostly 1/2 to 1 yard pieces.
I am so glad I didn’t miss it (again!!!) this year! Thank you, Amy, for hosting this. I’m not anywhere near as talented as the other quilters who are in the show, but I wanted to share my quilt because it was so special to me and a number of other people. Thanks for giving me this opportunity. :)
I don’t know where I’ve been but here’s my submission.
http://sandyquilts.blogspot.com/2010/11/pure-love.html
Thanks
I have had so much fun this past week browsing all the entries. Thanks for all the wonderful quilts and ideas.
My stash is mostly scraps and odds and ends I have picked up at the Goodwill. I don’t really buy fabric just to keep on hand. I usually buy as needed. But I think if given the chance and the finances I would but fabric when I saw it and liked it. That way I would always have great fabric on hand.
I added in my quilt. not as new in designs as some up but still my personal fav. and wow, aren’t there cool quilts linked up.
What a fun idea! I’ve been tentative about entering a quilt show, so this is a great chance to enter virtually and see how it goes. I wish I’d known in time, but I have subscribed and will definitely enter next time. Thanks for doing this!
Well I have no idea how many yards of fabric are in my stash…but I do know that it takes about 6 or 7 large (heavy!) boxes to hold all of it! We just moved and I never realized how much fabric I had until I had to pack all of it. Thanks for hosting the BQF!!
I am not tracking the yards, just the space.
I have a drawers fabric stash cabinet and a fabric display stash cabinet and I keep them as full as possible. It has nothing to do with fabric addiction. They are not big actually and to keep variety I restock every spare place. I sew a yard and I buy one. To be frank, I shop usually 10-15 yards at once than wait for space to become available and stash again – saves some time.
Thanks for hosting BQF Amy. It is so wonderful to be able to see all the quilted beauties from one place. How many yards of fabric in my stash? Too many to count. I did count the 100 yards of assorted christmas fabrics my sister donated to my Binky Patrol efforts and the 100 yards of Daisy Kingdom fabric my aunt donated. So if I had to guess, I’d say close to 1000 yards. Fortunately most of it was donated to me for quilts for Binky Patrol and it is being made up into quilts for kids in need.
I have added my link! What fun!!
As far as how much stash I have, it’s just ridiculous! I swear that I have a ton of fabric. And it has taken over my spare room and it trying to come out into the hallway. UGH! lol
I love all the beautiful quilt
Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful event! What a great opportunity to enjoy each other’s creativity and get to know other quilters!
Oooh how fun, this is my first entry into the Festival! My post is here: http://www.seamstobeyouandme.com/wordpress/2010/11/a-lousy-quilter-but-a-great-er-bindinger/
I have no clue how many yards I have in my stash. I’m not sure I even WANT to know.
Once again, a GREAT festival!! Thanks so much for hosting … it’s always fun to see what everyone is making. So many different styles!! How many yards of fabric in my stash?? I’m horrible at estimating, especially since most of it is fat quarters or pieces of yardage left over … I’m guessing in the 50 – 100 yard range?
Wow, this is great! I have joined the fun and have my quilt posted on my blog as you have instructed. How many yards of fabric in my stash? Too many…I don’t know–add up all the fat quarters collected over the years–40? I need to get busy.
Wow this is great! I have joined the fun and have my quilt posted on my blog and linked as you instructed. How many yards fo fabric in my stash? Too many…I don’t know–add up all the fat quarters collected over the years–40? I need to get busy.
Hi Amy, thank you so much for your wonderful site and Quilt Festival. I must say as a newbie quilter I love looking at the pictures of other people’s quilts..it is very inspiring! And while I am submitting my first quilt, I am happy to say I probably have over 50 yards of fabric in my stash. I simply love fabric but have been too afraid to start quilting before now…when my crafting soul mate Kristie from ocd-obsessive crafting disorder encouraged me to give it a try. Like my blog post says…quilt festival = fun. Thanks again…you rock!!
I made it!
You ask, how much fabric I have.. let’s not even go there!
I enjoy visiting all the blogs and quilts. Thanks for doing this.
Thank you so much for hosting this quilting festival. It has inspired me to keep quilting and I have enjoyed seeing all the beautiful quilts and reading some of the sweet stories behind them. I just started quilting so I think I only have 2 or 3 yards. : )
I would like to be entered in the drawing.
Thanks
http://whatawonderfulworldoflove.blogspot.com
Thank you for Hosting this Amy!! All of the quilts are AMAZING!
Thanks for all the time and effort you put into this festival so that people like me have a chance to enter such a fantastic quilt festival. It took me a couple tries but I think I have the linky and the blog post licked. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do, I spend hours and hours looking at everyone’s beautiful quilts.
Thank You
Kelley O
Yay! With only hours to spare I finished binding a quilt and posted it. Thanks for hosting such a fun festival. I’m new to quilting and sewing so my stash is quite small (even if my family would disagree!) – about 20 yards?
I would like to thank you for all the effort that you put into this quilt festival. All that work to give us a chance to share our quilting with other people who enjoy the same craft. I spend hours looking at the quilts and find great blogs to follow.
Hopefully this comment will only show up once. It took me a couple tries to figure this linky thing out. Turned out that was a blessing since the first time it caught that I had messed up the link to your page, lol.
Thank You,
Kelley O
I would like to thank you for all the work you put into this online quilt festival. It has taken me 6 months to figure out the blog and I’m pretty proud of getting my quilt on the linky. Thanks for a great festival and a great blog. I get so much inspiration from looking at your blog and this festival. I can get lost for hours just looking at quilts online.
Thank You
Kelley O
Oh, just in time! I was ill in bed all week and almost missed it!
great collection of quilts you gathered here, Amy :)
thank you for hosting this nice festival once again.
I made it, with almost an hour to spare! and you want to know how much stash I have…. in yards? Its too late and that smacks of higher math… But thanks so much for hosting this forum. It had provided my so much inspiration in the past and I am thrilled to be able to participate.
Look at all of those wonderful quilts! It’s going to take me awhile to get through them all. Thanks for doing this again Amy!
Wow I’ve only just made it! Thank you Amy for being such a wonderful host. Amount of yards?…how many yards would a small shop have? Then I would have that many!! Now I’m off to check out a festival!!xo
Hi Amy,
Thanks so much for creating such a lovely event! So many talented quilters here.
I’d say I have somewhere in between 10-15 yards of fabric in my stash, but a full 5 of them are all one fabric that is destined to become curtains in my nursery. :)
Kelsey
Talk about making it in under the wire ;]
Thanks for all the hard work you put into this! I know how much you do behind the scenes to bring it all together — and everyone else should know, too!
Now to peruse some awesome quilt posts!!
Hi, not sure if my last comment was posted; I couldn’t figure out the linky thingy.
Am I too late? I put a pic in the flickr group anyway.
Oh Amy, what an amazing Festival!! It’s going to take me all year to get through all the quilts :) I have no idea how many yards are in my stash. Maybe..20? How many yards in a metre?? I do know that I hoard way too many scraps. I’m a scrapaholic.
I completely forgot to add my comment last night after I added my blog post! I’ve never added up
my stash but I’ll guess around 25-50 yards. I tend to buy for certain projects so most of it has a plan. I just started buying a few pieces just because I like it.
Thanks Amy! I love the thumbnail links this time!
Eeek I almost forgot to comment! I’m guessing I have 20-30 yards in my stash. Amazing how it adds up super fast! I’m trying to put a dent in that this year, but so far it grows faster than it shrinks…
Wow…it’s just amazing how many quilts…and I love the thumbnail pics of them all! Yards in my stash…not sure…at least a hundred?!
I love this festival and my stash? I have no idea!!!! Way too much!!!!
AW! I missed your Blogger’s Quilt Festival this time :o(
I will be sure to keep a better look out for your next one. And even though I missed joining in…I will still love to visit around those that are here.
Blessings & Aloha!
I can’t believe I didn’t know this was going on! I found out about it from raggedy owl’s blogspot…a bit after the event but hey ;-) Angela was apparently inspired by one of my quilts, which is immensely flattering. I’m off now to have a good look through all these wonderful quilts…Karen x
I love the Blogger’s Quilt Festival, it’s so inspiring. My stash is a bit out of control, I dare not count it in totality as I’m sure the final number would be scary & would make me feel quite guilty.
Hi my loved one! I want to say that this article is awesome, great written and come with almost all vital infos. I would like to peer extra posts like this.
You actually make it seem really easy together with your
presentation but I find this matter to be actually something that I feel
I would never understand. It kind of feels too complicated and extremely huge for me.
I am having a look ahead for your subsequent post, I will try to get the grasp of
