Knowing and understanding how creativity fits into my life offers more opportunities for creativity every day. This is true if you are a photographer, quilter, painter, sculptor, or _________ (you fill in the blank!). Regardless of how you explore your creativity, knowing that you are meant to live this creative life will allow you to grow your creativity even more! Going through each day with an innovative outlook on problem-solving, or workflow dynamics definitely works in my favor.
Creative Affirmation
I am meant to live a creative life.
Truly understanding this simple affirmation, can open you up to the fun of growing your creativity. The day-to-day doldrums are no more when looking at the opportunities for creativity in so many circumstances. Everything from selecting the route to travel around town while running errands, to shopping for supplies for the next project. So many decisions that we make every day take creativity and thoughtfulness, even when I don’t feel that I’m being creative.
Think back over the last week about how you used your creativity in an unusually creative way. As creative people, we often don’t recognize our own creativity but it is in many of the decisions we make every day. Affirming your creativity, no matter how you are using it, is always a great idea!
