I’m still behind in the making of blocks for my Comfort Quilt, but not worried! I will continue to sew as times allows.

Week five Check in:

I completed the blocks that I started for week four. Last week was graduation. With that we have had extra events and family in town, and my sewing time has been hit and miss. Sewing time has also fallen to the bottom of my priority list. That’s ok!

Week 4 Blocks the #ComfortQuiltQAL

The day after graduation, I had a couple of hours to myself and opted to sew. It felt great! To hopefully get myself back on track, I’ve pulled the blocks that I need to make for week five and six.

Week six

I hope you are enjoying the quilt-along as much as I am! If at anytime you are feeling overwhelmed with the process, slow down, and just make one. That little bit of satisfaction can go a long way while working on a big project.

  • Make the listed number of large and small blocks on your schedule.
  • Post your finished blocks, use #ComfortQuiltQAL to share with the group.
  • Take a few minutes to layout all of your blocks and snap a pic of your progress. It’s fun to see how far you’ve come!

Be sure to use the #ComfortQuiltQAL hashtag on all your posts so that everyone can find you. It’s a fun way to interact as we sew!

Have questions about the quilt-along? I’d love to help! Leave a note in the comments and I’ll answer there so everyone can benefit.

Happy Quilting –

Amy
