Hi there! And Happy New Year! I had planned on posting my Heartland Heritage supply list, last week but it never quite happened. I’m really excited about stitching up the Heartland Heritage quilt with you this year. Listed below is all the supplies that you’ll need to be ready to start stitching with me too!
We designed Heartland Heritage for your scrap bin, and it’s really fun to stitch up this way. My original quilt has at least 75 different fabrics in the quilt top. However, I know that some of you will want to pull your favorite fat quarter bundle to stitch with, so that info is included too.
Skill Level
It’s been mentioned before, but Heartland Heritage is perfect for a beginner quilter looking to grow and improve their quilting skills. It’s also a lot of fun for the more experienced quilter, looking for a fun project with a variety of blocks, and ability to use up scraps!
My Fabric Selections
I’ve decided that I’ll be stitching my new quilt up with my (almost released) Wanderlust fabrics.
These bright and cheery fabrics will sew up an adorable baby quilt! You can preorder a fat quarter bundle here, or shop from the bundles in stock here.

- Heartland Heritage Pattern/Desk Calendar
- Assorted Scraps OR at least 24 fat quarters
- 5 yards of background fabric
Your background fabric can be all the same, or a variety of prints.
