Earlier this week, Joe and I met for lunch after Owen’s first day of Kindergarten (he’s having fun!!) and I couldn’t help but snap a pic of the leaves on the mountainside.
I LOVE the crisp evenings of fall, and the bright colors as the leaves change. I’ve posted about them before, here and here – there’s some beautiful views of our valley in there too.
All that to say, when I was assigned the month of September for the Aurifil Designer of the Month the leaves were my first thought for embroidery design!
It’s simple and fun, and a great addition to the other blocks already designed this year – I hope you like it.
Visit the Aurifil blog for a pattern and an interview, of me!
If you are visiting here for the first time, feel free to look around, be sure to check out on the Blogger’s Quilt Festival coming next month.
Hope you are having a great day ~ Amy
Followed the link, but it leads to the August Block. I looked around, but can’t seem to find your block. I think there might be a problem with the link.
Fall is my favorite season. Your leaves block is so pretty, I can’t wait to stitch this one.
Its there now Grace!
Autumn (Fall) is my favourite time of year too. Lovely block.
