I posted about my Goody Goody Binding Kit a couple of weeks ago on instagram and Facebook, but haven’t had a chance to share it with you! My friend Vanessa of Lella Boutique, has an adorable and FREE tutorial here. I’m pretty sure you are going to want to make on for you, and your best quilting friends – it’s just that cute!

Once you open the tie, all that you need to bind your quilt can be stowed inside. The zip pocket houses my wonder clips, and the pocket on the right is for your favorite binding treat! Vanessa has a video to walk you through the zippers too – so don’t let that keep you from making this!

A closer look at the details – a pocket for scissors, thread keeper, and wool (or batting/fabric in my case) for keeping your needles. That one needle there is my favorite – I’ve been using the same one for years, it’s tough enough not to bend, but super sharp to get the job done quick!

The entire project took about three hours total, and next time would be quicker, because I already know the steps. It’s a fun, fast and a vital project for any quilter!

I can’t wait to see your version!
