Hi there! It was brought to my attention last week that there are just 15 more Friday’s until Christmas! My first reaction was disbelief, but as I ticked the months off in my mind, I knew it was an accurate count. Currently, I’m not at all ready for the holidays, or to sew for them, but my friend Candy has a stellar new e-book full of beautiful handmade gifts for anyone on your list!

Create Handmade Gifts for All is a collection of Candy’s projects, made in her always beautiful hand-dyed fabrics. If you aren’t familiar with Candy’s work you should definitely check out her home online – CandiedFabrics it’s chalk full of info. Of course these projects would be beautiful in any fabrics you choose to work with too!

Check out the table of contents for the e-book :

I love how all the projects are sorted out! Candy has some of the best ideas for quilted organization, and organization within bags! There’s 18 projects in all, ranging from bags, and baskets to home decor for year round and the holiday season.

These tablet sleeves are gorgeous – I love the saturated colors! Included in the e-book is Candy’s method of “free motion machine sketching” as shown on the sleeve, the organic feel of the stitching is perfect. She breaks it down into little bits of stitching that anyone can master. You should try it – I dare you!

The giveaway mentioned at the top is a copy of the most recent Quilting Arts Gifts magazine, AND a chance to win the messenger bag on the cover of the e-book above! Each of the bloggers listed below will pull two names, one for the mag, one to give to Candy for the bag drawing – be sure to visit everyone for more chances to win!

To win :  leave a comment on this post, telling me your favorite color, and if it is used in your quilts/projects often. I will select a winner on September 22, 2014. Good luck!
