Giveaway Day!

Hi friends! I hope you had a great weekend, I’ve been a busy bee, quilting for my deadline – I only wish I didn’t have to wait to share! For now, I am participating in Giveaway Day with the lovely ladies from Sew, Mama, Sew – if you haven’t checked out all the giveaways yet, enter here, then visit here.

For my giveaway, I am offering two books! First is Modern Neutrals, my third book, and second is Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe from a collection of talented bloggers, including myself. These books are great to keep, or give to your favorite quilter!

Giveaway Day - AmysCreativeSide.com - Click over to enter!

Between the two books there are 34 patterns included!

To enter to win, just leave me a comment, telling me what gifts you are making for the holidays.

I have a list I hope to sew, but also need to get a little sleep too…hmmm ;)

If you haven’t visited here before, be sure to check out my quilts page, and the most recent Blogger’s Quilt Festival, lots of inspiration to be found. And I’ve started a podcast – Quiltcast, which is a ton of fun, great to listen to while piecing, or out for a walk! My friend April and I chat about quilting, and trying to find the elusive balance in life with a family.

K – have fun entering all the great giveaways this week, and good luck!

This giveaway closes, December 13th, and I’ll select a winner, randomly, shortly thereafter.

I just finished making my second Christmas gift. A little pink quilted crown for my niece and I made a set of Christmas coasters for a work gift exchange. Not sure how much else will get done in the next 16 days.

I just had a baby so I’m giving myself this xmas off. I do need to make a tree skirt for our new tree though. It likely won’t get done in time, but maybe I can squeeze in some sewing during nap time.

I wish I had to be making gifts… But this year I’m half planet away from all my family and friends and don’t have my craft supplies with me. I really wish I could join all the pre-holiday making frenzy. If I had a chance I would be making Christmas tree decorations for sure.

I am such a slacker. I am not making any home made gifts this year. I don’t know how some of these mommies do it. I have zero time to sew with a growing baby. Hopefully next year!

I’ve made a cross-stitched ornament and a felt one, and will be making several more from bottle caps. Plus a tote bag or two, some zipper bags, PJs for my son, and more. At least of the plan — most of that is not even started, so it will be interesting to see if I can pull all that off! Thanks for this chance
