Hi there! This time of year is so hard – the days are just warm enough to hint at spring, and I find myself drawn away from the computer screen! I hope you have some sunshine where you are at too! Our kids and I are really looking forward to Spring Break next week – They just want to sleep in and play outside all day, I’m looking forward to more time around the house, and hopefully some sewing too!
Recently, I’ve been rushing through some sewing. The quilt above was shipped off last week, after a rush job with Natalia, and a quick binding.
Immediately after that finish, I started on these blocks. This one is for Market in May – I’ll share more once it’s quilted.
Last night I pulled out my Dancing Stars supplies, and set myself up to start on 30 blocks – I’m hoping I can get them them all pieced this week! I realized (again!) that I have a hard time starting a project if I can’t chain piece it. So I found a way to chain piece the paper piecing – motivation found :)
Thanks for stopping by – Amy
Hi Amy,
Have you made a video on the Dancing Stars pattern? I would like to give it a try, but it’s my first pieced quilt and any help would be wonderful!
Looking forward to seeing your May project. I am going to Market in May. SO excited! I must get busy on my dancing stars too ; )
Oh, Amy, you read my mind…..that is one of my biggest issues with PP; I love to chain piece or do “leaders and enders” and that is hard with the foundation piecing. How DO you do that? LOL
Looking forward to seeing your Market quilt revealed! :)
