I had a busy week last week, which meant I didn’t manage to get to my sewing machine at all, but I made it a priority over the weekend! I hope you had a good weekend – I had been feeling restless without any machine time (relate much?) and love how sewing soothes my soul.

First, I have a sneak peek! These are Field Study by Anna Maria Horner, paired with a Herringbone in Willow, by My Mind’s Eye.  I’ll have to share more of that at a later date, but I’m pleased with my progress!

This is a bee block for the lovely Emily Herrick – she sent everyone a different color, and paper patterns for the “color wheels”.  Our only job was to piece them, and Emily is planning to applique all the wheels to a white background.  Can’t wait to see this one come together!

This Dessert of the Month set has been the most fun to work on! There’s no deadline (obviously!) and I can pick up the little project and just stitch.  If you are interested in a fun email once a month the Frosted Pumpkin has a new sampler that has just been released! If I finish by the end of the year, I will let myself sign up for another.

The best part is – my girls want to learn to cross-stitch!  I need a few more little hoops and some kits, like my grandma used to give me.  I think it will be a fun inside project for the cold winter months ahead.

I hope your week is off to a great start!
