Yesterday I cut and prepped fabric for three projects!
Fabrics for my Sewing Summit class arrived earlier this week, and so I need to make a sample! All the blocks are cut, and ready to sew. Fabrics are “Handle with Care” for Robert Kaufman – super cute!
I need to make a bunting for a mixer at Sewing Summit – the Salt Lake City Modern Quilt Guild is hosting an evening of fun, and a few of us were asked to make buntings to personalize the restaurant space. I cut the pieces from a Sassy Layer Cake. Fun times!
Finally, I cut all the pieces for this dress – for myself – I haven’t sewn a dress for myself in years! The pattern is Simplicity 1800, and the fabric is by Victoria & Albert Museum, Bromley Ikat for Westminster.
I also finished picking out the quilting that I needed to, and hope to get back to quilting.
I’m hoping for a SUPER productive day today – I hope you have a great day too!
Amy
I’ve been prepping the past few days but I still have a ways to go. I love that fabric I’ll have to check it out. See you next week.
Prep work is tedious sometimes, but then oh, joy! You get to sew non-stop!!
Looks like you have a busy week ahead of you!
