Weekend Sewing!

Hi friends! I hope you had a great weekend!
I did get a bit of sewing done, I had a pile of pieces I had cut for another project, only to realize I cut them too small.

Those bits needed to be sew up into something!
I’m not certain what they will become yet, but I’m having fun piecing.
What are you up to this week?
I’m expecting company, and hope to get our home in order. And figure out how I will finish the bit of sewing above!

I like the alternating colors and patterns! I have a miniature maple leaf quilt in progress that has been fun to make. Enjoy your piecing!

You could be in the For the Love of Solids swap over on Flickr with that project. It looks awesome! I think it could make a super cute bag/clutch/tote if it’s framed in like a deep eggplant solid. Or a pillow. Mmm.

Ooooh, I like where this is going! I didn’t get too much done this weekend, since I was traveling. I pumped to do some sewing this week, though!

I am plugging away at a mini Made in Cherry I am doing in scraps–though I may need to buy backing and binding fabric this week. So I will be forced to go fabric shopping lol.

I really love that. It’ll be great no matter what it makes.
