Over the weekend, I pulled out the blocks from the bee I was in called “A Notion or Two” in 2009, and got to work!  I made the block that I needed to finish the group, and got busy.  This is a  departure from my usual fabric choices, but I love it!  I had designed/made the embroidery, then sent it out with the fabrics, asking that each member just incorporate it in the block of their choice.  Here’s the results:

Isn’t it fun?   The blocks are all different, some haphazard, others well planned, and the overall quilt is pretty, and soft.  I’m adding this one to the pile of, to be quilted, I’ve got my work cut out for me!

Here’s a couple closer shots so you can see the embroidery better:

What are you working on today?  I’m headed to school, to help in the classroom for a while, then I need to work on a couple little things for Market!  I get to go finally, but I will still be hosting Bloggers’ Quilt Festival too!  I should start working on that too.

Blessings,

Amy
